Exactly as what we had expected. The word “pop-up” is not exaggerated. Once you extract it from it’s “bag” it’ll erect itself. You just have to adjust it to your requirements and stabilize it using either pegs (provided), or if on the beach, sand bags (provided). Disassembling is easy, once you’ve do it once or twice. Until you get experienced, in repacking it you will find it bulkier, but with a bit of patience it will still fit in the carry bag every time. Haven’t used it yet in a camping environment, but looks and feels sturdy enough to withstand and rough handling.Read more

We just went camping at multiple locations for two weeks this Summer and we used our brand new Leedor everywhere! : at multiple camp sites, at the beach, and at our caravan park site. It was perfect for every situation! The Amazon shipping was very fast – we received it earlier than expected – and when we very first opened the box and began pulling the Leedor gazebo out of it’s bag the Leedor basically popped out instantly and made itself into a tent – it’s brilliant! Pros: It’s made well, it’s fully functional, its roof provides shade and its netting provides wind and insect protection, it’s very easy to set up, comes with pegs and sandbags, built in hooks and sewn in ropes for tying down, and the 12ft is a great size – it’s quite big! Zero complaints about its size. It’s quite easy to ‘fold and twist’ back into its bag as well. It keeps all the wasps, insects and mosquitos out and we thoroughly enjoy relaxing in it without being bugged by bugs! (although earth spiders and ants do come in via the floor area if you don’t put any pegs into the ground, so spiders and ants can be prevented if pegged down properly). We purchased powered lights and were able to use the inner hooks to hang the lights on. Cons: When it rains the water collects in the roof as it is waterproof – so don’t leave it unattended if rain is due or if it is raining, I suggest actually putting it down if you’re going away and rain is due. Since it’s a popup and 12 ft in size – the carry bag’s diameter is quite big (120cms) compared to our big camping tents which are all only about 70cms, and the bag doesn’t contain backpack handles so you can strap it onto your back. The one thing we really noticed at the beach was the lack of breeze inside the tent on a hot day. The netted panels of the tent are very good at blocking all wind and breeze inside the tent – this can be a pro and a con, but on hot days we needed some fresh air movement and we wanted to open the two zippered doors, but there were wasps everywhere around outside the tent, so we couldn’t get any breeze inside without unzipping the doors. It’s a minor problem, but it’s something we noticed on hot days. On windy days you must use the attached black ropes to tie it down or the Leedor gazebo will attempt to fold itself back up by folding itself inwards; that happened to us! All in all – thanks to all past purchasers for your detailed reviews! Your reviews helped me decide to buy the 12ft instead of the cheaper, smaller 10ft, and I’m so grateful for your photos – so I have provided lots of photos of how we’ve used, and are still using, our new Leedor tent. 🙂 We’ve had no issues in manufacturing, zippers, sewing, workmanship of any kind. We were very careful to keep all pets and knives away from the tent in case we caused a cut or damage to the netting. It’s been a brilliant purchase and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again!Read more

I took this Gazebo to the cottage and it was so easy to set up. It took the most time to stake the tent to the ground but even that was very easy to do. It took me even less time to take down….It’s roomy inside and can fit up to four people comfortably.Read more

So far this tent/gazebo has worked great. Got it in perfect shape, went up pretty easy with some help from the kids and it’s more sturdy than I thought it would be once up. We used the sand bags they give, filled with sand and placed at the edges of the gazebo, and also the bottom ties/spikes to hold the tent out and in place. With that it’s sturdy, but they also have ties/spikes for the top of the tent too we just didn’t use them, but with those, this thing would be very tough to knock around. Inside room, there is just enough to get around for head room. I’m 6’ and with the table in the gazebo as seen in the photo I put up, plus chairs, there was room for me to navigate in and out of the tent with just grazing my head on the net on the sides. That’s because of how it tapers up at the top. The very top of the gazebo is at least 7’ in there so it won’t be a problem for most everyone. We also had our dog and his dog bed in there with us because he has to be outside with us any time we go outside lol. The netting feels pretty solid, just can’t hit it with anything sharpe obviously or it’s done for. It’s tight once you get the gazebo pulled out and staked in the ground so anything sharpe will rip it easily. The zippers work great too, no snagging there. Some surprise things I like was that there are hooks on the inside top of the gazebo, on each of the six corners and I was able to hang those solar star lights on there. I didn’t catch that those were in there when I bought it, but when I put it up I thought it was perfect for what I needed. We did a dinner night ‘out’ at home and this worked great to do that without mosquitos! 🙂 Also the netting let in just enough air to be ventilated but not so much breeze to feel it in a bad way. It was a warm night so I had a fan blowing into the tent to help with ventilation and because we have a candle in there to keep that smoke dissipated. The very top of the tent is not ventilated, so keep that in mind if using a citronella candle inside it or anything that makes smoke. Overall, this was exactly what I was looking for and it works great. Hoping it holds up for some time so we can keep using it!Read more

We call it our [anti] “Bug Bubble”. The concept is great. We love it, with 1 big exception (hence 4 stars), that will soon be a big problem. *** PROS: 1) Very fast set up. We can do it in less than 60 seconds. We use garden “U” pins/stakes, used to hold down “weed stop” material, to stake our tent down at the 6 bottom loops. Makes it super quick to secure 2) Thickness is irrelevant. It is very stable once secured (anchored) down. 3) Perfect size. We have two chairs, center table, and tv stand for portable TV. 4) 100+ Points out of 100 for Weight and Storage. Quick fold down and you can put this anywhere. Even a desk drawer. *** CONS [SOON VERY BIG CON]: 1) Here’s the problem, which may be a bigger problem in our near future. We have had the Gazebo for less than 2 weeks now (received July 3, review July 12). Our biggest issue is the netting used for the zipper opening/door. The net is to thin and is beginning to running already. We already know it will separate from the zipper soon. We are being extra careful opening and closing until we decide what we will do. KEY ISSUE: There’s only 2 of us, and maybe used once every other day so far. Which means if you have kids, in and out, etc, the zipper closing won’t last but a few weeks. We don’t think this will last us 30 days. We are now trying to determine how we will fix this. We love the gazebo/tent, so we would love a FIX option than doing a return.Read more

It’s cute. It’s small but it’s perfect for what I need. When you first take it out, be very careful when you remove the strap that holds it together. It pops right open. The directions say to hold it away from your body and face when doing so and you must, otherwise you will get hit. It is very forceful popping open. I tied the upper straps to the roof of my house and put the stones down on the corners. The wind tried to take it right away and the straps are perfect for securing it in place.Read more

I expected an easy setup from the description, but was surprised at how easily it packs up. While not as spacious as I anticipated, it is as described and I do expect it should last a good while. Since I only gave it 3 stars for sturdiness, I feel I need to clarify . . . . while not the sturdiest/stiffest/strongest structurally, with the quick and simple set-up/take-down I do not expect I will be leaving it up when not in use thus making this much less of an issue. (note that with most screen tents sturdiness in the wind is the major complaint I’ve seen in the reviews, and avoiding this problem by easily storing when not in use may be the best solution.)Read more

The Leedor canopy arrived yesterday and I’ve never been so pleased with an online order. It popped open and 30 seconds later I had a tent room! The fabric is silky and lightweight and the overall quality, superb! We live on a trout stream in Minnesota during the summer that has an abundance of gnats and mosquitoes. This tent room makes it possible for us to sit outside. Two zero gravity chairs fit nicely! Also, when we travel with our Winnebago, we plan to take the canopy with us as it takes up very little space. It’s PERFECT!Read more

I bought this for use with our RV to protect us from the bugs. It goes up superfast! Sized right for 2 of us and our comfortable camping chairs. Folds down flat when not in use and fits snugly back in the carry bag. I highly recommend for camping or backyard use.Read more

This screen tent is super easy to pop open and super easy to close. I hesitated getting this tent at first because usually these pop up type tents are a pain to fold back up, but this one is truly super easy! And it folds really flat, so it doesn’t take up much room to store. It’s very pretty and sturdy. One word of advice though, if you are buying this to put over picnic tables at camping sites, get the bigger one. This is a little small for those tables. I didn’t want to return mine so I just use it since they do still go over the table, but they touch the table at the corners so I have to be very cautious. The larger one would have been perfect.Read more

I had read the review from another senior woman who claimed she set her screened room up by herself. This prompted me to give it a try & it was super easy. I am a 72 yr old widow who purchased a 19’ trailer to enjoy camping with my dog. With my Leedor the spring blackfies & mosquitos won’t be a deterrent to my travels. Bonus is that if I’m in bear country where they roam through campsites at night I can quickly pop the Leedor down before retiring for the night.Read more
