This is the BEST & EASIEST popcorn popper I ever used!!! It makes the most delicious popcorn in minutes. I just received it Yesterday and already made 5 batches of popcorn! It pops the corn fast and evenly and leaves very little if any unpopped kernels. I only used 1/4 C kernels and the popper was almost filled to the top with popped corn. I used Orville Redenbacher’s Popcorn and all 5 batches were FANTASTIC!!! I set my micro-oven at 4 minutes and listened for the popping to slow down. As soon as the POPPING SLOWED DOWN, I removed the popper from the micro-oven. MOST BATCHES TOOK LESS THAN 2 MINUTES!!! The popcorn made with sugar and splenda required LESS COOKING TIME. I swirled some hot water and soap in the popper after use and clean up was a breeze! Nothing stuck to the popper, not even granulated sugar! HERE ARE THE RECIPES FOR THE 5 DIFFERENT BATCHES: #1: NO OIL. 1/4 C Kernels + 1/8 tsp Kosher Salt. Stir salt with kernels before popping. The popcorn was very good, similar to air popped, but a lighter texture. #2: OIL 1/4 C Kernels + 1/8 tsp Kosher Salt +1 TBS Canola Oil Stir all the ingredients together in the popper before popping. This batch was TO DIE FOR!!!! All the kernels popped and the popcorn had a buttery taste with a hint of saltiness. #3: Oil + Wilton Butter Flavoring 1/4 C Kernels + 1/8 tsp Kosher Salt +1 TBS Canola Oil +1/8 tsp Wilton Butter Flavoring Add all the ingredients into the popper and stir them with a spoon before popping. This batch had a really buttery flavor with the perfect amount of salt. My family devoured this batch and wanted more! #4 Kettle Corn. 1/4 C Kernels + 1/8 tsp Kosher Salt +1 TBS Canola Oil + 1/8 tsp Wilton Butter Flavoring + 1TBS + 1 tsp Granulated White Sugar Add all the ingredients into the popper and stir them with a spoon to evenly coat, before popping. This was sooooooooo GOOD!!!!! This Popcorn TASTED EXACTLY LIKE KETTLE CORN that you would purchase at a fair!!! Just let the popped corn cool a minute before touching; the sugar gets hot. #5 SPLENDA KETTLE CORN: THE BEST!!!!!!!! AS GOOD AS “REAL SUGAR” VERSION!!! 1/4 C Kernels + 1/8 tsp Kosher Salt +1 TBS Canola Oil + 1/8 tsp Wilton Butter Flavoring + 6 (tsp sized) packages of Splenda Mix the Splenda with all the ingredients before popping. This was as good as the batch made with sugar(batch #4)! In fact, you could not distinguish a difference in taste between the two!!! EXCELLENT KETTLE CORN!!!!! THIS WAS THE EASIEST/FASTEST POPPER to use. Clean up was 2 seconds, and the POPCORN was FANTASTIC!!! DEFINITELY 10 STARS!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! IF YOU LOVE POPCORN, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! I forgot to mention: the popper collapses down in size for easy storage – added bonus!! UPDATE to review: 7/30/2015 I was so IMPRESSED with this popcorn popper that I ordered 2 more! I sent one to each of my children & they loved it!!!Read more

Better than the Presto popper, which requires special inserts and tended to burn popcorn after a few batches. Took a while to master the Lekue, but finally ended up with really good popcorn. First the DOs: 1. Use about 1/4 cup of popping corn or less. 2. Pop on High for about 2 minutes. If the popping slows down, stop it then. 3. Scoop the popped corn into a bowl. There will be some un-popped kernels left in the popper. 4. Pop the remaining kernels for a minute or so. When the popping is almost done (1 second between pops) turn off and move to bowl. 5. Practice a bit. Every microwave is different and different varieties of popcorn behave differently. DONT’S 1. Don’t wait until every kernel is popped. Some will ultimately burn. 2. Don’t get distracted. The time between perfection and burnt popcorn is very short. Cleaning is very easy if you don’t use oil and sugar. If you do use these, put some water and a drop of detergent in the popper, stick it in the microwave for 20 secs., then wash. Note: I had tried it using cooking or olive oil and/or salt, but found the unadulterated version (no oil/salt) was easier to control and made good, light, popcorn.Read more

I purchased this product about a week ago.Lekue Microwave Popcorn Popper/Popcorn Maker, Red After washing and drying it, I made my first batch of popcorn. I was impressed with how few kernels remained when the popping finished. I do recommend you stay near the microwave to listen for the popping sounds, as popping times will vary depending on how much corn you put into the bowl. I also do not add oil when popping. This is an item I will recommend to family and friends and can see myself purchasing again in the future as a gift.Read more

My first impressions: Per the instructions, I used 1/2 cup of kernels, 1 tbsp olive oil, and a couple splashes of table salt. After about two minutes in the microwave, I realized that 1/2 cup is too much. Although it was still popping vigorously, the top had popped off and popcorn was spilling out. The popcorn at the top of the pile was a bit scorched, the rest was just fine. There were some unpopped kernels, but most likely because I stopped the microwave before it turned into that scene from “Real Genius”. Next time I’ll try 1/3 cup of kernels and maybe just under 1 tbsp olive oil. Update: Yes, 1/3 cup is the correct amount. It fills the bowl without overflowing and only a few unpopped kernels at the bottom. So far, I am pleased with it. Conventional popcorn with the convenience of microwave popcorn Update: I’ve seen others report that the popcorn gets burned. Not counting my first experience, I have not noticed excessive burning. Or, at least, no more than I would expect from prepackaged microwave popcorn. I do use a little olive oil and a drizzle of melted butter, so that may help. I also don’t try to pop EVERY kernel. As soon as there is a second and half to two second interval between pops, I pull it from the microwave. I’d rather have a few unpopped kernels at the bottom than have burned popcorn. (Working in a cube farm, I can tell you the worst smell in the world is burned microwave popcorn.)Read more

Me explico. Y no, no somos unos marranos. Y ahi poco a poco ve mejorando tu “táctica palomitera”. Espero te ayude.Read more

Read more

Read more

I was a little sceptical about just how good a silicone tub could be, but after having melted a couple of plastic tubs, or cleaning the microwave after kernels had exploded through cling film, or throwing away half the kernels as the glass bowl was too thick, I thought it was worth a try. Well – I don’t usually write reviews, but this thing is fantastic. Every time used I have had a bowl brimming with fluffy popcorn in under 3 minutes, with very little wastage. If you like popcorn, you’ll love this.Read more
