No company info. All it says is Koaland and that is a trademark for a company called Flexery Store, but these bread bags are all they make. The big size will not accommodate large loaves and the long size will not accommodate a baguette of normal thickness. The material is very lightweight and not woven very tightly. No labels in the bags to guarantee the material is linen, where it is sourced, or where it is made. The card said hand packed with love. A lot to pay for no real information. No truth in advertising. Is it even legal to sell items through Amazon that don’t have this information?Read more

Does what it promises–the square bags look to be big enough for a 2+ pound boule. The baguette bags are long enough for the ~21″ loaves that come out of my oven, and big enough each to hold two loaves if need be. There’s nothing miraculous at play, but it’ll make your 2-day old bread taste like day old, and that’s not nothing.Read more

I make bread at home to save some money and to know what’s in my food. Purchased this to help keep that bread fresh. I didn’t expect it to keep the bread fresh for any longer than a week but the bread that I had made at 8pm was hard as a rock by 6am the next day, not even 24 hours. The bags are really easy to clean and I do still use them to store bread though I put the bread in a Ziploc bag first.Read more

I bake bread, mainly sourdough, and always have the problem of storage. Plastic bags, ziplocs etc. can make the bread wet and aren’t a good choice. So when I went looking for fabric bread bags, I found Koaland Linen Bread Bags. The had the variety of sizes for loaves and baguette (round and long) that I was looking for, and two of each of these sizes in one reasonably priced order. They also gave a bonus wine gift bag. Just started using them, but I am satisfied right now. I am a home baker and usually store my bread in zip lock bags. This was not very satisfying since it turned my crispy crust soft and chewy. After washing the bags (and do so! a lt of dirt came out of them), I stored my first bread in them and after two days the crust is still crispy and the bread is still fresh. I purchased these bread bags hoping as a description said it would keep my bread nice and fresh. We are trying to be more environmentally conscious than we have been. When the package arrived I was excited, I turned each of the bags inside out and wash them as was suggested before the first use. Not such a big deal as I wash a lot of clothing inside out as well. Although the step might be a nuisance to some. Then I excitedly took several loaves of bread out of the fridge (as we have people with very specific dietary preferences in our home), placed them into the bags and then into the fridge. Big mistake hard as a rock next day, so I looked more carefully at the directions. The directions recommend for freshness to first place in plastic wrap then in the back. What’s the point of the bags then? I wish I could return them although I do believe I’ve had them for too long, plus I used my credits to buy the bag so I wasn’t out any cash specifically. I would not recommend this product.Read more

The all-wheat 1.5 loaf I do with the bread machine gets really dry after cutting the first slice in less than a day, so now I have to make every day bread and do a smaller loaf like 1lb…Thinking to go back to the zipper plastic bag and do again 1.5-2lb loafs…Not happy.Read more

Ich musste die Säcke zuerst alle mal in die Waschmaschine werfen. Sie haben fürchterlich muffig gerochen. Haben vermutlich beim Transport Feuchtigkeit bekommen und lagen anschließend ne Weile auf Lager. Das ist aber auch schon alles, was ich zu nölen habe. Super Qualität, super Produkt.Read more
