I use this cable with a set of KZ ZS10 Pro. I wasn’t expecting the cable to make a noticeable difference/improvement compared to the stock cable, but it did. Not only does this cable sound better (more detail, resolution, tighter bass, smoother sounding overall) but it’s also less prone to tangling than the stock brown cable of the KZ product line. I’m not sure why another reviewer would give the cable 1 star because of an error they made by ordering the incorrect connection type for their IEMs. IF YOU ORDER THE CORRECT CONNECTION TYPE FOR YOUR IEMs, then THIS cable IS a viable alternative/upgrade to the stock cable (at least to the stock KZ cable which came with my KZ ZS10 Pro). Do some research ahead of time to double check, triple check your IEM’s connection type before ordering!Read more

I must say I don’t believe that upgrading a headphone cable will improve sound quality. I’ve simply listened to too many different headphones and set ups over the years. If people say they can hear a difference it’s pretty much guaranteed to be psychological. That out of the way I bought these to upgrade over the stock KZ ZSX cable to get the 2.5 mm balanced. This cable feels so nice. It’s very soft and doesn’t kink at all. Sometimes it’s nice to have something that’s aesthetically pleasing since you do physically interact with the cable. I would not hesitate on this for $20 since so many IEMs support the three different types of connectors and balanced options they offer. Upgrade if you need balanced or want a nicer feeling cable but don’t upgrade only if you think you will achieve better sound quality because for the most part with some rare exceptions it won’t make a difference.Read more

For audiophiles who don’t buy into the expensive cable nonsense, this is wonderful. It’s everything you want in a cable: light, no memory, and strong enough to last a good while. Reasonable price, great quality. I will update this review if any of this changes.Read more

UPDATE: turned out I ordered the wrong connector type. It should have been the 2 pin instead of the QDC connectors The QDC male connectors on the cable will not fit over the the female connectors on the BLON BL-03 IEMs. Also the male connectors are not labeled to know which is Left or Right. Other than that the cable itself is beautifully made.Read more

This product for my BLON 03 IEMs has worked tremendously well since I got it weeks ago. It feels solid, comfortable, and durable with a great aesthetic. I was initially unsure of how this cable would last, but since this very cable is also available by Linsoul, I felt safe in purchasing it. Unlike the original cable that comes standard with the BLON’s, this cable feels durable when wrapping it up for storage and transporting it. Bottom line: For roughly around $20, this is a fantastic standard for either an introductory or end game cable for various IEMs, including the BLON 03 IEMs. Comfortable, durable, and worth trying out this cable from a reputable seller and company like Linsoul. If anything were to happen to this cable, I’d have no hesitation snagging this exact cable again.Read more

I like these cables, a tad expensive but all “upgrade” cables are. Pros: -Good weight, not too heavy, not too light -Good thickness, doesn’t dig into the top of my ear and not so thick as to bother me or move my glasses around. -Good selection of connectors on both ends -Good texture, not super slippery but also not super tacky. Doesn’t bother my skin at all. Cons: -2 pin connector is crazy huge and probably hangs awkwardly with IEMs designed to wrap around ears. *see note -Expensive for a cable on it’s own, but reasonable if you compare to competition. Note: I don’t like how large the 2-pin connector is so I purchased a second QDC cable and cut back the jacketing and made it into a 2-pin. Works fine, much better fit for the IEMs I’m using for(TRN V80). I just used and X-ACTO knife and pressed it into the jacketing until I made contact with the pins, repeat on all 4 sides and done.Read more

I love this cable. Well… I love 99% of this cable. I did have to remove the thin plastic sleeve that goes around your ears for maximum comfort. Just make sure to pair these with memory phone earbuds. Together I get a tight fit, with a soft cord I can wear over the ear or straight down. 10/10 would recommend as an upgrade from stock Tin T2 cable.Read more

After upgrading my portable music player to one that has the option of balanced outputs, I thought that I should give it a try after reading about the improved sound from the larger balanced output jack. This cord allows me to listen to my JVC in ear woodies with an improvement in sound that I didn’t expect. The Hafx are great ear buds to begin with, and having the balanced cable makes an improvement that is like lifting a thin blanket off of some already great sounding speakers. Highly recommended at this price if you have earphones worth investing into for even better sound.Read more

I bought this Prime shipped for £13.71 (£2 off promo) for my Blon BL-03, instead of waiting for delivery from China. I could have bought a very nice cable from there for the same money, but I was curious to see how this stacked up as it was the cheapest 16 core IEM cable I’d seen as UK stock. The price has gone up since I first wrote this review. I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised with the cable. It flows well and doesn’t kink, the plugs and connectors are solid too. It’s thinner and lighter than my 16 core KB Ear and Yinyoo cables but not by a huge amount. It’s slightly thicker than my 8 core Yinyoo cables, although again, not by a great deal. It sits somewhere in between and for the money I can’t complain at all. Sonically it’s no different to any other competently made cable, but it’s certainly a worthy improvement in terms of feel, fit and comfort over the Blon’s stock cable!. For the most part I’ll continue to use Ali to buy my IEM cables as the prices are impossible to beat for such high quality. My 16 core Yinyoo and KB Ear cables cost ~£12-15 direct; they have better plugs, the cables have a lovely weight and thickness to them, and they generally just feel nicer. The price has since been raised to £19.99 with Prime. That’s less of a bargain but still the cheapest 16 core I’ve seen shipped from the UK. If I need a cable in a rush I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another of these Tripowin Zonie cables. I hope it’s a sign of things to come in terms of easy availability of reasonably priced and good quality IEM cables in the UK. On that topic, there’s a Yinyoo cable on Amazon UK at the moment selling for almost £60, when it’s readily available from China for just over £12. That’s a ridiculous markup but people are paying it and claiming to now hear all sorts of new and wonderful things from their IEM’s. Maybe because they think it’s a sixty quid cable so it must be special, right?! Linsoul are a rock solid seller of gear from China with an excellent reputation and I’m glad they priced this cable so reasonably in the UK, it was the same price you’d pay from China before the price hike. It deserves to sell well and gets full marks from me, happy listening :)Read more

I noticed there weren’t any reviews for this Nucool cable by Tripowin so I thought I’d write this. I’ve brought other more-expensive-than-average cables before this one & wondered whether the extra money is justified – especially when reading some of the ‘claims’ made by manufacturers & reviewers who “know what I’m talking about”. In my own opinion, this Nucool cable sounds wonderful. I’ve got it connected to my Ikko Meteor OH-1’s & it really seems to make a difference. I didn’t really want to spend £60 on Ikko’s own cable so I bought this one from Tripowin which was the limit of my budget. Delivery took slightly less than 2 weeks – well before the 17th – 24th April deadline & well worth the delivery waiting time from China. Soundstaging is excellent, drums & bass are emphasised but without dominating the rest of the music, treble is detailed without becoming overly harsh & you can detect spacing between all the instruments – they don’t sound all piled up on top of each other. I’ve compared this to other cables with varying prices & I think this one lives up to its hype & pricetag. It has a superior sound quality over the others. No, it’s not cheap but I believe it is worth the money if you want noticeably better sound quality but don’t want to spend a fortune. I listen to a wide range of different musical genres: Rock, EDM, Folk, Choral, etc & this cable does them all proud. This is an exceptional cable – it’s not cheap but it’s very well made, is nice & thick but doesn’t feel too heavy. It ‘glistens’ in sunlight – if you like that sort of thing – & the connectors & slider are made of alloy – quality stuff. Heartily recommended.Read more

I had never tried any product of Tripowin before but I will definitely now. Bought this as a cable replacement for my newly acquired Moondrop Starfield (see photo) and I’m really happy with it. It fits more securely in my opinion than compared to the stock cable. Actually didn’t notice it had the old “chin slider” ball mechanism on it for an even more secure fit under the chin. The look and quality of the cable/connectors are excellent and surpassed my expectations somewhat. Feels and looks quality to me.Read more

I have just bought a new headphone amp and I wanted to try out the balanced output so I bought a lead which while very soft it just sounded ok so I found the Linsoul 16 core silver plated cable for just 15 pounds so I thought hell why not it is worth a punt well it arrived today and wow, the build quality is first class the carbon fibre is a nice touch the glass bead to hold the cable in place works a treat and they fall around my ears just right and finally the colour is perfect. The sound quality is also a surprise to me as most cables which are silver-plated copper if often very splashy but here its not and the cable carries a surprising amount of bass with texture the Linsoul Tripowin 16 Core Silver Plated Cable is an almost perfect match for the KZ ZSN IEMs I can only expect cables which cost more than the headphones should sound better but why would you do that when little gems like this is waiting. But alas you will have to wait for them to make the flight from the other side of the world.Read more

This cable has a noxious smell. I have owned it for nearly a year, the stench has lessened, but it is still definitely there. I have used it with a couple of different IEMs which came with single ended cables, but which benefited from balanced connection. Although sound did improve, I believe that this cable does not sound as good as the other two balanced earphone cables I have bought. The Tripowin seems a bit tinny, but the others are more expensive (if purchased on Amazon). On the plus side, it does not tangle, and the mmcx and 2.5mm plugs have been trouble free.Read more
