   This product is a damn miracle. Our German Shepherd puppy tore up the couches one fateful day at my Father-In-Law’s home so I was horrified to say the least. My first thought was to google furniture repair near me, which after sending out the pictures they more or less told me the re-upholstery would be upwards of $,1000 and I should just replace the couches, which are worth $3,000 combined (Damn you LaZBoy!). So, I went to my good friend, Amazon, and saw this product for Furniture Repair/Patch and gave it a shot. BOY did it pan out! The first image is this product, the suede, and while I had to back it with some cardboard and stuffing, it was incredibly easy to apply. Cut a little slit where I creased it over the corner and VOILA! The other, smaller patch, is the 8×4 leather one also sold by MastaPlasta. And what “Mastas” they are. Hopefully this dog won’t chew up any more furniture but if she does, I know how to fix it! The second image is the perpetrator… Thanks to MastaPlasta I can still love her the same.Read more

   Okay, so my puppy decided that my oversized ottoman was the best source of dinner he could find. So, I love my ottoman, quite a lot, so I didn’t want to have to toss it out. I bought my first MastaPlasta patch to see if it would work, or at least give coverage if I decided to have it Reupholstered. The first patch was dark brown suede, it ended up being a few shades darker then my fabric, but it really held on and hasn’t a slipped or pulled away from its original placement. I just purchased and received 3 more of these patches to finish closing the hole. Unfortunately, I didn’t pay attention to the color and bought Tan. I had a good laugh putting them on since they are extremely light compared to the chocolately brown of my ottoman. So I have a plan, and will be purchasing more to turn my dogs munching disaster into a ‘craft’ project to match my new rug! I could’ve returned them for the correct color, but honestly, like the idea since I’ll probably have this ottoman longer then the actual furniture set I bough it with.Read more

   So I have these pair of Pumas I really like except after awhile both left and right shoes developed holes in the same spot on their respective sides. Still wearable but just a little unsightly and I had to were black socks or the holes would be really noticeable. I decided to give this product a shot…I got the black suede to match the shoe material. I had to do a little tracing but I got the pattern right. I am pleasantly surprised by the results. I just hope they hold up and give these shoes a little bit more life.Read more

   I have three Dobermans so it’s inevitable that my microfiber couch is going to get punctures over the years. Instead of doing nothing and watching it grow I get one of these patches and it stays on forever. You can’t even tell it’s there because the color matches so perfectly with my couch but even my dogs who if they could get this off they would and they haven’t been able to penetrate it.    I usually don’t write reviews but this one was a must. My 10 month old pup decided to dig at the corner of my cushion. I received it today and put it on right away. I knew the color didn’t match upon ordering and that was ok, as long as it did the job. Well, let me tell you, I could not be happier. As you can see from the first photo, the second I walked out of the room she tried to dig again. This time she did not succeed. This thing is thick!    Fixed a fifty-year-old leather frame that had fallen apart that could not be replaced with another one for that size of the pictures. Was able to cut very tiny strips and have them adhere properly and make the frame almost like new and match the color well. Not sure what it would be like on furniture but this was a folding frame so it will have to move around. Wish it had a better explanation about whether you’re getting a smooth leather look or a suede leather look but it seems like it will stretch and it was pretty easy to use for the very fine work I was doing with it cutting incredibly thin strips measuring in millimeters. It seemed kind of expensive for one patch but maybe it was realistic for the fact that it works so well.Read more

   Used this to repair some approximately 1-2 inch tears in my leather seats. They weren’t rips, just places where the leather had begun to split with age. This patch adhered well and has held up well for the last few months. I couldn’t find an exact color match for my seats, but it’s okay for my purposes.Read more

   Material does not stick well. The label says that once it’s on that it won’t come off easily and that’s just not true. My 2 year old pulled it right off. It’s thick and soft. The material is the same as my microfiber couch. It’s easy to cut to the size of the year I was patching. However it didn’t stick so I’ll probably have to get something else.Read more
