Bought these locks for the gym but turns out to be a joke. They are really small & can be popped open with a moderate tug. Used these for only a handful of times since purchased in July & 2 out of 3 broke already (red one works, purple arm broke off, and blue pulls open without combination). See photo attached.Read more

I bought these locks because I have always trusted MasterLock brand, however, these locks failed me. All three locks came with defects. The locks would not lock properly and they were difficult to open when entering the proper combination. The red one even broke when I opened it. Stay away from these locks!!!!Read more

When we received these locks, one of them would not unlock. The code to unlock the others did not work, nor any numbers “near” it. Didn’t care enough to return the item as we only needed two, but I didn’t appreciate the quality escape. Or more accurately i didn’t appreciate the (rather long) rant my wife went on about how the locks dont work, when the first lock she brought with her to the gym happened to be the one that didn’t work. I cant say I blame her for her frustration. Other than that, they work. The code cant be changed, but I knew that when I bought them.Read more

I was more attracted to the three colors in one pack and failed to take notice their size. Now someone correct me if I am wrong but the dimensions in the description are not correct as they are stated the same for both these mini-locks and the larger standard lock. You must go by the dimensions diagram which is the bottom image in the column on the far left. Anyway they should be OK for some applications but I fear they may be too small to hang straight down on gym lockers versus the standard size lock since the shackle is of greater length. Finally, I haven’t opened a combination lock in many years so it took some practice to get them unlocked. These being so much smaller just made the task even more awkward so I’m going to get one in the standard size.Read more

What were we thinking? We bought this set of locks, not once, but twice – only because we thought we lost the first set during the pandemic when our daughter wasn’t in school. She finally had the chance to use the lock this September. What a disaster. She was late to two classes because the lock kept jamming and getting stuck, so I took her to the store after school to buy a proper, regular-sized lock. It’s still a “Master Lock” but the good, old-fashioned kind, that’s just plain, old, black. She loves it and she even lucked out with the lock combination of numbers, because they are her “favorite” numbers. Just this week, another student with the same mini lock had to have his lock cut off because it also jammed! So, take my advice and don’t go for cute and colorful. Just go for plain and practical, and you’ll be happy.Read more

These locks are decent. They all have the same combination, so my it makes it easy to remember the code. My partner and I each have one in our gym bags and we have one in a racquetball set. Unfortunately, they do feel and act quite cheap. There have been numerous instances of it appearing to be locked while the lock is unlocked, the metal hook spins, but won’t push down and latch unless you put in the code. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it is bothersome, especially when you are in a rush or want to get out of the locker room. Overall, I would look for something else that is a bit higher quality. I have a feeling like they won’t last very long, even with minimal wear and tear.Read more

These locks are sturdy, they are the mini version but work well on my gym locker. If you’re buying for mult. people who want to keep items private from each other, get separate locks. These all have the same combination. Very cute colors, though!Read more

Unlike previous Master locks that last forever, the quality of these (now made in China not Milwaukee) is not up to par. They drift over time, and also become stuck. I am getting rid of them to replace with regular Master locks. It was nice to have three with the same combination, and the colors are cool, but the durability and difficulty opening them over time are too high of a concern. I spent 10 minutes today trying to open them (and it is not just one of the three locks) but they do get stuck. Never had that with Master locks before. I also could tell from day 1 they did not seem as rugged and well made. I will go back to standard size Master Lock, hopefully the quality of these has not dropped.Read more

These mini locks are perfectly sized for work lockers. I love how they come in three different colours which gives you some variation over the plain looking silver look. They feel solid and should handle simple security measures with ease. All three locks have the same identical code which is a good thing so you won’t have to memorize three combination codes. I got 3 of these mini locks for the price of 1 regular sized lock! They were on sale. They’re kinda flimsy. I use it for my locker at work. First lock in 5 years. So needless to say I’m not worried about how strong they are. In my setting it’s a good lock because I know no one is going to try to break it. Any other setting. I would NOT use this lock. I’m pretty sure an 8 year old could break it. They look nice and they function well. They’re just not heavy duty like the bigger locks. So if you don’t need the fortified security of a big lock. Exactly as advertised. All three have the same combination, and fortunately for me I got lucky with an easy combination to remember. No complaints, just exactly as expected and the same colours as pictured. Plus, I searched around in stores and online and this is by far the best price you will find on ANY set of 3 identically set locks. In case you didn’t read it in the description, these are not full sized locks that you’re used to seeing. They deter theft and have kept my stuff safe for months in an unattended locker.
