First it must be understood that this is a training leash so at the very least, watch a video. It is to be worn high around the head behind the ears, not around the neck, if worn correctly it will not choke your dog at all but you will have total control if you learn to use it correctly. Someone commented that their dog chewed through the leash in no time. Why on earth was your dog chewing on the leash? I bought it because my older rescue dog needed to learn how to walk properly beside me and not to pull on the leash. He also needed to learn to sit quietly beside me on a walk if we came upon a dog or human he wasn’t sure of. I had immediate success. This I purchased for my Chihuahua mix, whom thinks he is 75 pounds, therefore is jerk to others on a leash. With this I have more control and we are working on keeping his attention in new situations. I was nervous about keeping the collar part up high enough to prevent crushing wind pipe, but it stays comfortably with a few adjustments here and there. But I liked the smaller 1/2 inch of diameter on the cord for him. If I do put it on his snout, he will still be able to see as oppose to the 1 inch diameter cord ones.Read more

This product is great in terms of color, quality, and material. The length is what ruins it for me! 7ft is too long, I have 2 dogs and more often than not half of our walk is spent untangling ourselves from its mass. There are 2 options walk several feet behind your dogs ( lest they slow down and intertwine themselves ) or walk around with a handful of rope. If your ok with either of those great if not this is not the product for you!Read more

I initially was looking for a similar product as this one. This is a good product. It looks good and it works only problem for me is that after a while that thing that’s supposed to hold the leash around the dogs neck tends to become loose after a while which means you can’t really use the leash at least in my mind. Other than that great colors they look just like the pictures.Read more

I like this slip lead, it’s well made and looks great. Even after being dragged through the mud, dried up and looked almost clean again. Also washable. I’d say it’s heavy enough for large dogs, but might be too heavy for dogs under 25 pounds.Read more

Rope is thin so that’s the only issue with me holding it. My dog doesn’t pull to hard so for me it was durable. And my leash aren’t in chewing reach so can’t answer for chew proof. The legged hold that holds the leash around their neck does slip. If your looking for a easy cheap slip lead with a dog who ur currently training not to pull it works well.Read more
