Update- The green goop seemed to resolve its self pretty quickly. I’ve had these a few months now and they look and function well. ——– I was really excited when these came. They were beautiful and larger then expected but after using them less then 3 weeks they have started making my yellow soap a blue/green goop that makes my hands smell like metal. We use them frequently so soap wasn’t sitting in the dispenser long. Really gross and disappointing.Read more

Used this as a liquid soap dispenser but the soap reacts chemically to the pump mechanism and causes the soap to turn a brownish and green color. Also see flakes in the soap which I am guessing is part of the pump coating that is falling off.Read more

When I just got them I really liked those soap dispensers. Then I noticed that after about 2 weeks of use, the soap gets watery and funky. Also, the pump made of cheap plastic and color starts to wear off in the first week (see the picture). Trash!Read more

These are lovely soap dispensers! Solid, well made, metal tops, so the finish shouldn’t peel off like the plastic ones. Tube goes all the way to the bottom too. Nice wide opening, easy to fill. Only issue is it doesn’t sit completely flat, but this was easily fixed by applying a small, flat adhesive clear rubber disc to one bottom corner. Very pleased with these for the price!Read more

I first purchased one of these MDesign soap dispensers for use in the kitchen. People were wasting too much “soap” by pumping the dishwasher fluid for use in washing their hands. One pump from the traditional under sink mounted soap dispenser is enough to wash a sink full of dishes. So I purchased a set of these in the copper color to go in my kitchen. It worked so well, that I started buying these for every room in the house (with a sink)!! 🙂 I purchased this copper set to go in my kitchen where I have copper knobs/handles on the kitchen cabinets. I love these soap dispensers. They are so easy to clean, always create a good foam, and make it easy to wash your hands quickly. Having the soap already foamed up makes it easy to spread on and easy to rinse off. Perfect! It only takes a little soap about 1/5 or 1/6 full and the rest water to fill these up. I love these bottles. I use one for body lotion and one for slightly thicker foot cream and both work fine. They’re really big so accommodate the whole of the original quantity from the bottle. They also look fab in my bathroom and next to my bed. The only reason I’ve deducted a star is that on one of the bottles I received, the seal between the nozzle and the main lid part was faulty and so leaks slightly if I’m too enthusiastic when I press it down. No need to return as I can restrain myself but cost it the full five stars.Read more

They look nice and feel strong, though the top pump feels a bit flimsy. I used them for face and body cream, a bit disappointed because I keep finding flakes in the cream which appear to be the paint inside the pump coming off. Not ideal really. Probably not harmful but if you were using them for hair product or even food then you probably wouldn’t spot it.Read more

Amazing bottles I really enjoy the fact that this is probably the sturdiest and best soap dispensing bottle I’ve had. Believe you me I’ve had many. What I do like about this is a dispensers a good dollop of soap just in one push. Just be careful that you don’t let it drip as it tends to. Highly recommended. Hope they managed to last there’s nothing on it that seems to be able to rust or start to look ropey.Read more
