Title says it all. I ordered the flower of life bowl from the same seller and was delighted by it. This second order however was a big disappointment. The color is very dull and not at all like it is presented in the picture. It didn’t come with a cushion/ring and the wand was much lower quality than the wand they sent me with my first order. I emailed them about it and haven’t heard back about a replacement or anything. I’m a very unhappy customer and will be sending this back.Read more

This bowl has more of a tone to me. I play music constantly. It is a very nice sound and pleasing. The one issue is hardly that. If I am not careful, and focused it over vibrates. I have horrible cancer and I do say that the mind focus coupled with meditation prayer of your choosing really and truly help with this little bump in my road it might help someone you know. Painless and inexpensive for the benefits.Read more

I purchased this bowl because it promised a deep, continuous sound. While the bowl is thick, unlike some of the cheaper aluminum ones, it does not sing. The height, and the couture, causes the bowl to ‘brrrring’ instead of making the promised deep continuous sound. I expected it to go from the ‘female’ vibration to the “wah-wah” vibration, but it is not capable of making that leap. A good singing bowl will have a timbre that, when one moves around the outide of the bowl, will create a uniform series of sound waves. This bowl has a hollowness to the sound that is apparent from the first strike. It is disturbing to hear, and aggravating to the senses. Not what one wants to hear when using a singing bowl. I do not recommend this bowl, and would not give it as a gift.Read more

The one I received was C#, not E as advertised. I’m keeping it because I dont have C# yet. This bowl is pretty simple and not of a very high quality. Its machine processed first and then slightly hammered, you could see “rings” from machine processing. The edge is pretty thin. Still good for the price as its huge compared to other bowls half its priceRead more

I’ve been testing singing bowls for over five months now, and couldn’t connect with any of them. All I knew is that I was never interested in pretty painted bowls that you had to “work” with in order to get a sound that resonated. I’ve seen this bowl on Amazon for some time now, and after spending 80.00 for a bowl that totally disappointed me (it was warped at the rim), I decided to try this. It’s wonderful. As a young Reiki/Kundalini student, I’m learning about moving through the world with intent and purpose. For me, having a singing bowl without all the decorations and overly elaborate symbols keeps me grounded to that intent. The tone of this bowl is very nice and soothing. I’ll give an update on where the tone is on the scale. It’ll take time to put a full set together, because bowls can be expensive, but patience is part of the journey I’m on, so I’m okay with that, too. I have to share that in my opinion, unless you’re totally committed to chakra healing, start off with one bowl that is simply pleasing to the ear, and calming to the mind and heart. Then build your set based on that. I promise you will be much happier taking this a step at a time. Namaste. Update: When first struck my bowl sings a “D,” then settles into a “G” undertone. To my way of thinking, this bowl impacts both the Sacral and Throat chakras, and I couldn’t be happier, so I can now look for a root chakra singing bowl for “grounding.” I’ve also poured water into the bowl and it’s sound is wonderful. By the third strike, bubbles appeared, and water was jumping out the bowl. This is a good singing bowl.Read more

This was my first ever singing bowl and I was not disappointed. It is relatively heavy and sturdy and it has a beautiful sound. It took me a few tried to get the bowl to “sing”, but I attribute that to my lack of experience. In fact, I found I was able to play the bowl with either end of the mallet that came with the bowl. When playing the bowl, the wooden end of the mallet is a little noisy and gives off a little bit of a scraping sound until the bowl reaches full volume. Playing the bowl with the felt-covered end of the mallet gives the clearest and most consistent tone, with less “chatter” than the wooden end of the mallet. The only reason I gave the bowl 4 stars is because this is my first singing bowl and I have nothing else to compare it to. It may well deserve a full 5 stars, but only time and experience will tell the that. Either way, I am very pleased with this purchase and I would recommend it to others as a “first-time” purchase.Read more

Great sound, got it to sing easily. I did not use the wand that came with it as it is too small and light to play with this bowl. I used a bigger heavier wand that I own and it plays much better with it. This is the only reason I am rating 4 stars rather than 5. Other than that, it has a unique amazing tune.Read more

I bought this singing bowl just to invite the bell to sound for meditation and the sound of the bell is beautiful. It sustains fairly well too. I have given it a 5 star rating for the singing bowl itself. The ring cushion is fairly cheap and not quite a good fit for the bowl. I will be purchasing another one. The bowl does sing nicely though as well.Read more
