Microbe lift has been around for years. I remember seeing videos of farmers fields that had ponds that became polluted by animals on their farms. They would bring in a 55 gallon drum and dump it in the pond and immediately the pond would get like a yellow foam on top. After a few days the bacteria would break down the solids and the pond would become crystal clear in a week’s time. It contains both anaerobic and aerobic bacteria meaning it work in a non oxygen and oxygen heavy environment. Contains live bacteria that immediately goes to work. Not a dry powder that takes weeks to grow a sufficient quantity to get the job done. If you tank has no bacteria in it do to heavy bleach use or soaps that kill bacteria, you need to reintroduce a new colony. If you simply pump your tank out by a professional septic company the tank will fill up in only a couple days. It’s not a fix to pump your tank out. It also doesn’t help the field when you pump your tank. First you have to understand what a septic tank is doing. Solids reach the tank and sink to the bottom. Bacteria begins to break it down and liquify it. The tank fills to the upper field drain pipe and runs into the field pipes. The liquid goes into the soil and bacteria continues to work keeping the field clean. If no bacteria the tank fills with solids the drain field then fills with solids and you have a tank that no longer works. I suggest putting 1qt a month into your lowest toilet and flushing several times. It does have a stinky smell. Don’t make the mistake of pouring it in a sink drain and not running water. It will stink up your whole house quickly. If you do this your tank will never again need to be pumped out. No more digging up the lid and paying a guy to pump it out. No more slow drains or backing up into the house. You Need to use this and be problem free.Read more

Started seeing effluent on the surface near the riser and manhole cover. Limited flushes (only the toilet goes into septic, only septic TP and only human waste goes in), requested our young boys pee outside and poured every septic product into potty. Nothing helped and there was always water leaking out. An EPA nightmare. Knew we had failed lines as they were put in by my husband’s dad in 1977 (hubby remembers his dad digging the trenches and laying the lateral lines which are terra cotta and the holding tank is made of asphault). Very old system! I met the hubby and moved in to the old home in 2005. Didn’t know we had septic until 2014 (when it was pumped and septic guy said, “I’m shocked you haven’t had more problems”). That was the beginning of our troubles. Conducted a ton of research (I now know so much about septic tanks, I feel that I have a backup career) and came across this product. Reviews on Amazon were stellar. Ordered 2 containers and poured them in. Oh man, does this stuff stink! Per the directions, pour 2 batches in and then follow up with 2 more the next week then 1 every other week for 4 weeks. I’m on application #3. Will be putting another treatment in this weekend. I plan on adding more than recommended because I know I have an old system and it needs help. Since starting the treatment, there has been no surfacing effluent, the smell around the manhole cover is gone and the dirt that used to be consistently wet is drying. I don’t feel comfortable yet to resume flushing after just tinkle. Hoping that time and more treatments will get me to that spot. For now, this will be the only septic product I purchase. Have used this product since 1979. Have never needed any other investment or maintenance in my septic put in in the 1940’s. Every single one of the professional Septic businesses I have talked to over the years and recently as a year ago still say this is the best product of it’s type . It works. It’s inexpensive when you consider you need to use it twice a year not monthly like the other competing products. I know others near me that have been using this same product for years and say the same thing. Zero Septic Problems. It’s now 07 2019 and my septic has never needed a pump out. Not once. I have several rental properties. On one of the houses I had to replace a drain field, costing approx. $3000 About a year later I had issues with 2 more homes. After talking to several plumbers they all agreed that I needed 2 more drain fields. Finally I spoke to a plumber that did NOT have anything to do with installing drain fields and he recommended Microbe-Lift. This plumber saved my wallet by thousands of dollars, perhaps 10’s of thousands. One drain field was so clogged that the only way to get Micro-Lift into it was through the toilet.
