My husband absolutely loves it! We placed it in our backyard to help light up the area. It is so bright and lights up such a large area. Good for ensuring safety at night and walking around with ease. Best of all, it is super light and convenient to move around wherever! I can easily move it from my backyard door to the ping pong table in the back of my yard. So that I can enjoy playing ping pong in a well lit area with my husband and child after work. Also I was so surprised to see it work all night long without issues! It can be turned on or off with the remote at anytime. But also has options to set a timer for 3 hrs, 5 hrs, and 8 hrs with an auto feature as well on the remote. It is also nice that the brightness can be adjusted from super bright like a mini sun to dim for when it is placed outside near my daughter’s room at night. Overall, I quite like the use of it for my family’s safety and spending more time with them outside at night. We are often left in the dark with very frequent power outages so we decided to install several of these solar street lights around the house. When the power is on and the regular electric flood lights are lit, this solar light stays off but as soon as dusk hits or the power goes off in the night, this solar light comes on immediately and covers a large ground area including our whole parking area, our front walkway, and the entire side of our house. We have it mounted on the outside corner post of a second story porch. It does have a remote but that doesn’t seem to work from the ground but works fine once I go out on this upper porch. Installation was fairly easy and all of the installation parts are included. The parts are decent thickness metal (aluminum) and will stand up well to any bad weather we get here in the mountains. You can use this as a dusk to dawn light but there are adjustments for brightness and also length of time to be on as well from the remote control. Our only complaint (with all solar street lights we have installed) is that there is very little leeway for any adjustment on the solar panel so on the shady sides of the house, it’s difficult to get it where you want the light yet need enough sunlight to charge it up to last all night long. Overall though, this light is working very well and it serves our purpose of lighting up the area when the power goes out.Read more

We have a farm out in the boonies. We have a barn with mini horses, goats, and pigs. Plus a chicken house. We have found signs of nocturnal predators coming around. Tracks, scat, and claw marks on wood. We put this solar light up on a post over by the woodline near where we keep all the farm animals. It seems to be doing the jog well. On at dusk, off at dawn.
