I love the fact this is a motion controlled camera. It takes very clear video and super easy to view videos from your laptop or PC. I was having things missing or misplaced at my house. I have a cleaning crew that I trust, but was starting to have my doubts. It was nothing of value, but was annoying my jump drives and SD cards were incognito. I caught the culprit in action with my new mini camera. My one and only four-legged family member. My cat was taking these items to her bed. That little turd. I think it is one of the most undetectable hidden cameras that I have seen, It is small and inconspicuous and can be placed anywhere. The best purchase I’ve made in a long time! One hour battery life but great picture. Really good night vision but it doesn’t work if it’s plugged in. If it’s not plugged in the battery dies in 60 mins so you either have an outlet nearby OR get creative and buy a portable charger to use with it to give it a longer battery life. My other gripe was that I missed a few key things that got overwritten because motion mode wouldn’t go into effect or at least I couldn’t tell. There’s one tiny led light that turns blue, red, and half blue/ half red and if one attained to those colors, it’s pretty simple to read. But there is no way to tell once set whether you have it on motion, or loop. Loop will record 5 minute videos around the clock for approx eight hours, then it will start overwriting itself. I lost allot to that. A few times after I’d mounted it (takes me like 5 mins to get the angle right and make sure it’s hidden) I thought I set the cam to motion, but found out a few days later after retrieving it and plugging it in that it was in loop mode the whole time and had been overwriting itself. If there’s one thing I could change, it would be to have the camera make it more clear somehow as to whether it’s on motion or loop. The light blinks a series of blue red sequence to tell you what it is set to, and it’s really unclear. Setting the cam to record is easy, but motion is iffy at best unless you study the blinking light sequence which clearly, I still after two months haven’t gotten right. Can’t afford to hire a security company. These are user friendly and easy to set up. Good for women or anyone who lives alone and being harassed, stalked followed and monitored. Are use this camera as a nanny cam for my child. While at work parents aren’t able to watch the kids and give them the care that they need. So we all have to utilize this and possibly hire a nanny. This is a great product, especially for the price. I spent hundreds of dollars finding the best camera. I tried out different cameras and these were a huge pain to set up and use. But this one is incredibly easy. Make sure you read the instructions carefully and it will work just as it’s supposed to. Pay attention to the blinky lights and what they do to tell you what mode you’re in. The video quality is great. The night vision is good. I am an aficionado of cheap digital cameras; they tend to be loads of fun to use and I can spend (and have spent) a lot of time manipulating the resulting images. So, when I saw this camera on Amazon, I thought it would be good for something. I was wrong. For starters, the battery life is miserable, maybe lasting 15 minutes at best — it even loses a charge just sitting on a table powered off. Not good. Secondly, while the manufacturer states the camera can be used while charging, that has not been my experience. You cannot control any photo mode while the camera is charging at all. Third (and last), this thing may output 12 megapixel still images, but the company doesn’t tell you the camera sensor only takes a 1 megapixel image then scales it up 12 times. The end result isn’t good enough to even be called “bad”. It’s horrific. So, bottom line, save you money and get pretty much any other cheap digital camera on Amazon (some of which are surprisingly good), but skip this one. I wish I had.Read more

I am amazed at the capabilities that this little camera has. I only needed it catch a culprit but I’m looking forward to using it for all kinds of surveillance or as a dash cam.
