I have a bunch of guitars. I play them all – mostly standing up during performances. I hate having to swap straps from guitar to guitar, so I’m on a mission to add straps to all my guitars that don’t have one. I saw this no-frills, $7 strap and took a chance. Well, I just attached it to my 12 string and it’s perfect. Even has a few spots on the strap to hold extra picks (although I usually have half a dozen in my pocket). I can’t tell you how long it will last, but the mounts look sturdy and the strap material is definitely sturdy. I knocked it down one point for comfort, only because hey – it’s a very thick, sturdy strap and the edge is a bit hard on my neck. Let’s see how I feel at the end of a 3 hour evening. I feel guilty doing, it but I want to be honest. Would I buy more of these? Well, yes I would. And yes I am!!Read more

This matches mySquier Affinity Telecaster – Rosewood Fingerboard, Slick Silver . It was the least expensive option. It was the best visual match. it also matches the black & blue strap on my midnight blue Ibanez. Four stars for being an effective strap that does what I want. The pick holder didn’t work for me. It was a fun gimmick to try and a secondary reason to choose the strap. I useDunlop .Delrin, Dark Pink, .96mm guitar picks out of lazy habit. If I stand straight up, never lean down to adjust pedals, or don’t take the guitar off for any reason then they stay in. If I have to move then chances are one or two will drop right out. That, to me, was a bonus effect to the best strap for my wants, needs, and budget. So it wasn’t a huge loss. I installed this with a pair ofYMC Guitar Protector Premium Strap Locks (6 Pair) Black and have had no problem with the strap twisting or falling off. I’m overall happy with this strap. It does the most important things I wanted. My picks will continue to fall out of my pockets along with my spare change, as is the natural order of the world.Read more

Bought this cuz I went up for a talent show the other day and I couldn’t figure out what to do with my pick before I started. I normally play this song sitting down and the intro had a finger picking part and transitions to a full on strum in the chorus, so by sitting down, I had time to pick up my pick from my desk and start strumming. When I stood up there, I fidgeted about, trying to figure out what to do with my pick and I half-joked on the mic to the crowd about how I sit down playing this song. Thankfully, one of the audience members brought up a chair for me to sit on. Ha ha! Anyway, bought this strap so I wouldn’t have to deal with that ever again, and the transition from fingers to pick worked fine and now I’m ready for almost anything.Read more

Strap is thinner than a seat belt in a car and its nylon so it will just about cut you if you’re not careful. The ends that go on the strap buttons are poor quality but still functional, at least for right now. Pickholders are decent enough though and I like the look of it plus it’s 6 dollars and most straps are 12 to 20 dollars. But you get what you pay for.Read more

The only reason I would buy this would be for a cruel joke on another musician. It is made of a hard plastic-like material that just cuts into anywhere. I took this off my guitar as soon as I could and ordered a decent strap. I have no idea how Amazon can list this as a recommendation.Read more

I got this strap for my husband’s new guitar. It is a good sturdy strap and months later is still in good condition. My only complaint is the picks do fall out of the slots. Perhaps it’s a good place to put them while you’re playing, but if the slots aren’t right-side-up, you may want to put the picks in your pocket or guitar case so you don’t lose them. Other than that, it’s great! Adjustable length to fit my little short self or my normal sized husband, and the nice neutral tones will not feel out of place no matter what guitar you are using. All around, pretty pleased.Read more

Where to begin? Well, if you’re a guitarist, you’ve probably dropped a pick mid song at least once (or a thousand times) don’t lie… you’ve done it. I got this strap partially because I liked the idea of having quick access to a spare pick (x3) any time I need it. I also needed a cheap strap for a guitar I recently acquired but I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money on it. This came in clutch. Buy this strap, seriously!Read more

Strap is great but because it is made of strong binding cord if it rubs on your neck it could be a little rough however, make sure you rest it on your shoulders and it will be fine! I am using them for my Les Paul and my Yamaha Acoustic!Read more
