(26 customer reviews)

New Pokémon Snap is coming!
Get ready for New Pokémon Snap, an all-new adventure for Nintendo Switch that’s inspired by the classic Nintendo 64 game, Pokémon Snap.
Photograph lively wild Pokémon in their natural habitats as you research and explore unknown islands. Hop in your trusty travel pod, the NEO-ONE, and journey through a variety of environments such as beaches, jungles, and deserts to capture previously-unseen Pokémon behaviors. You can even toss Pokémon a delicious fluffruit to catch their attention. Photos you take can also be used to fill out your very own Pokémon Photodex!
In the Lental region, Pokémon and vegetation have sometimes been seen to glow. Meet Professor Mirror and work with him to uncover the mystery of the Illumina Phenomenon. Your photos and observations may be key to learning about this strange occurrence.

Like many others, I loved the original N64 game. This game is absolutely giving me the same excitement and joy that the original did. Levels are diverse, pokemon are plentiful, and the world is full of the little challenges and puzzles that are so satisfying to figure out.Read more

I played this game back on the Nintendo 64 I think it was so I was super excited when this came out. Over all the game starts off a little slow in the story and takes a while before you can move forward. You have to get to Level 2 of the 1st 2 worlds before you can move forward to the next and that’s the same for all the worlds. As for the shipping from Amazon it was on time with no issues. Great game for Pokemon loversRead more

Honestly would recommend just a quick peak at gameplan online, don’t watch to much as to not spoil the game. Very much enjoyed and the nostalgia factor is there. Haven’t played a Pokémon since the DS.Read more

Nintendo has revived another beloved game from its extensive archives. Fortunately Nintendo has a rich and full library of classic and revered titles that appeal to young and old alike. Nintendo could probably remake most of their old titles with up to date visuals and they would sell and individuals seem to like replaying a game they played when they were younger. You begin by selecting a readymade silent avatar who’s appearance you can’t customise. You are introduced to Rita and Professor Mirror who ask for your assistance in photographing Pokemon across the various islands of the Lental Region. The Japanese seem to love creating fictional versions of Hawaii. The main objective is to fill your Photodex by snapping countless pictures of the plethora of Pokemon indigenous to the surrounding areas. The “game” is like an old school arcade Rail-Shooter which takes you through linear predetermined routes with beautiful brightly coloured tropical environments as you attempt to lure out Pokemon by throwing fluffruit at them. Each photo is ranked between one and four stars. When you unlock the scan function it can aid you in discovering new routes and potential collectables. It may be the visuals that save this game as it looks incredible. Just don’t be under any illusion how monotonous and jarring this game can be, there just isn’t a lot to do. As with most, if not all Nintendo developed games this title is utterly charming but just be wary about what it is your buying. I like it but a lot of people may not and even find it boring.Read more

Never got to play the original Snap, but this was worth the wait. It feels so slow sometimes, I do wish there was a little more interactive features and the only online feature is posting or viewing yours/others Snaps. Because how slow and repetitive it can feel, I can only play for a short while.Read more

Pure nostalgia and very addictive. Best Pokémon graphics to date. Loving the Lental region already. Pleasantly surprised that each level changes slightly (which Pokemon appear and how they appear) as you rack up experience points. Some people are giving this a low review because they expected an open world like BoTW, which this isn’t and was never intended to be.Read more

I love this game. It’s so relaxing. And you never get bored because there’s always requests and new items to unlock so you can have more frames and stickers in the photo editing section. Also if you have Internet you can give sweet medals to other players. 10 out of 10 for me. And It was a nice deal to get it for 40 pound.Read more
