This is a great product to go with your NOCO Charger, but you can get around it. If you look at the battery clamps that come with your charger, you will notice the clamps are simply screwed to these terminal eyelets. If you take some pliers and loosen the screws, you can remove the eyelets from the clamps and attach them to your battery. Keep the clamps and screws and you can reattach them when necessary.Read more

This eyelet connector uses smaller wire with 10 amp fuse than the Genius10 (10 amp) charger’s wire with 20 amp fuse. So this eyelet connector is useless to me since I have the 10 amp charger. I did contact NOCO about this issue. They told me to replace the eyelet connector’s 10 amp fuse with a 20 amp like the charger’s wiring uses. Since this connector has thinner wire this would seem to create a fire hazard, so I won’t be doing that. If you have the 5 amp or smaller charger this connector would be usable, but for me with a 10 amp charger it’s useless. I read another review where using my combination resulted in overheating. This is an epic fail for NOCO, all because they went cheap on a couple feet of wire. Now I have to go through the hassle of trying to return it. I didn’t realize the wire was so thin until I removed it from the box.Read more

I have bought a whole line of Noco products and they are top notch quality. However this “Eyelet Terminal Accessory” has one flaw. Instead of a round eye hook that only fits over relative small bolts, they should have used an open ended hook that would fit over a wider variety of bolts. I made the mistake of trying to drill out the eye hook to a bigger hole which quickly broke the end off causing me to have to strip the wire and wrap it around the bolt. I quickly learned my lesson and used some tin snips to cut the second eye hook and then spread the eye hook with plyers into more of a V shape that would fit over my bolt. NOCO, a simple solution, use an open ended terminal instead of a round closed end terminal.Read more

I really like the NOCO Genius Chargers and I have these X-Connects installed on all my motorcycles so I can quickly and easily connect the charger without having to remove the seats, panels, etc to get to the battery terminals. They work great and make charging and maintaining the batteries easy. Easy to connect, fused, and easy to hide definitely worth the money spent and the time to install them.Read more

Great to add an easy way, to keep your bike ready for a maintenance or trickle charge during the times when you cant ride. I was able to easily attach and close the battery cover and run this up my forks, and tuck it under my tank when not in use. I do wish it was a foot and a half longer so I could tuck it in my windshield bag making it easier to charge my phone, like my last one but I was spoiled. I am now waiting for my NOCO GC009 X-Connect so I can use my BikeMaster SAE USB connector, untill NOCO makes a USB connector with the proprietary NOCO connector. I will be watching for this product to come out. If there is one please let me know. Loving the GC002 X-Connect and the eyelet rings are the perfect size for my battery screws. I did see a lot of reviews that mentioned the rings not fitting, not sure what they were trying to connect to, these rings fit my screws perfectly. I love this product! If you have a bike where the battery cover is a pain to get to, you too will love this product. I want to ride not tinker with a battery cover, this product allows me to connect, and disconnect with ease and ride.Read more

I purchased the NOCO Genius GC002 connector for a portable solar panel project for my travel trailer. I like the well made battery eyelet terminals along with the inline blade fuse holder. I installed an SAE panel flange plug on the top of my battery box and cut off the factory NOCO connector and soldered the two cables together using solder seal butt connectors. Now I can connect the trailer wires along with the solar plug when the battery is installed and secure the lid. No more having to remove the lid in order to connect the cheap battery alligator clamps that come with most portable solar panels. If I had to do over I would order the XL eyelets since I had to drill the existing holes larger so that the would fit over battery terminal studs. Total cost for project was less than $20.00 to have a convenient plug for my solar panel connection not to mention other 12 volt products I can now easily connect directly to my battery to charge or utilize a small air compressor or power inverter.Read more

My motorcycle (2004 Yamaha FZ6) has a battery which is really inaccessible. You have to lift the fuel tank to get to the battery, which is quite inconvenient if you need to charge the battery. I had custom made an older charging pigtail many years ago, to hook up a battery charger, but last year I purchased two NOCO chargers, and wanted to use them on my motorcycle, and the connectors were different. Looking on Amazon, I saw this adapter and it seemed perfect for the task. Sure enough, it was perfect. The terminals were the correct size for my motorcycle battery, and the leads were the right length to route out through the hole in the frame near the steering bearing. And the weatherproof cap nicely protects the NOCO connector. All in all, this is a great adapter if you have a motorcycle and want to hook up a NOCO charger to it.Read more

Two issues: The first is that the crimps are too small to fit many standard battery screw terminals which means that you have to chop them off and fit new. Secondly the cable is almost a third of the price of the charger… its pure profiteering. When you get the charger you find that they have moved away from the trusty old SAE connector that all the others use and introduced their own proprietary equivalent. This means it fits none of your previous kit… should have bundled in with charger.Read more

Good accessory for my Noco charger. Got fed up with having to remove the battery cover each time (and losing the securing clips into the bowels of the engine compartment) so pre-wiring the connector was a great improvement, especially during Covid when I need to keep the battery conditioned.
