My first reaction was that this is a good and usable product. I cleaned out the tub o’ batteries that I had been using and as I took the batteries out of the tub, I used the included handy dandy battery checker to see if I had any bad or weak batteries. My first problem. As I checked the batteries, I was running about 30% weak or totally bad. That surprised me as many of those batteries were in the original packaging. After some more weak or bad batteries, I decided to check them with my older but normally very accurate battery checker. Of the 23 batteries that had shown as needing replaced my older battery checker showed 21 as being way up in the green. So that is a problem. The battery checker is useless as it does not show actual battery condition. I replaced the included battery checker with my old one which fits and has some room for a couple more 9v batteries and put the included battery checker in my kitchen junk drawer. A very appropriate place for it. My only other complaint is that there is room for a kazillion (that’s an official measurement) AA batteries an not enough room for C and D batteries. And 9volt has limited storage also. But all in all the concept and end result is much better than my old version of the “Tub ‘o Batteries” and I’m glad I got one.Read more

So DISAPPOINTED one of the clear hinges was broken right out of the box. We put it back on but when you open it again the hinge falls off. I realize this is probably made out of the country. However if it’s on Amazon they should check the quality. It holds lots of batteries and the batter checker works ok. But with a broken hinge it’s basically trash. I gave it one star because it does hold batteries but not for long.Read more

This battery daddy is made fairly well but the latches to open it practically need a pry bar to open. No room to put finger under to open and hurts to open it. Not really usable in this configuration No way should this be this difficult to open. The battery tester did not work from day one and is CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP junk. Quality of the tester is below sub standard. It does hold alot of batteries.Read more

This battery storage case works well and seems to be well made. Fits a good amount of batteries, but keep in mind that if you have odd batteries, like CR123, A23 and button cells, you will have to come up with different ways to store those batteries in this case securely. The only problem that I had was with the battery tester. It worked once, then broke. During assembly, the two halves of the battery tester are put together and a tiny circuit board must be aligned while the two halves are screwed together. The circuit board was misaligned causing a wire to break after one use. I took it apart, soldered the wire, aligned the board and screwed it together. Works properly now. Would by again.Read more

I am so happy to finally have purchased a solution to the batteries rolling around in my kitchen drawer! I never knew which batteries I had and did not have. This is awesome. It is perfect in every way. It has a place for every regular sized battery (AAA, AA, C, D) and a small compartment where you can put odd ball batteries (N, lithium, etc). My only complaint is that ) it is really hard to open – that is good so that the box does not accidentally open up and fall all over the place, but there has to be a better way to do it than needing to apply so much pressure to open the latches. Who knew that a Battery Daddy could make this girl so happy??!!Read more

Great Product. There are a lot of battery storage cases out, but this one stores the most, is easy to keep on the workbench, is affordable, has a battery charge checker. I bought my first one at Home Depot, but didn’t see it there again so went online to find it. Saw many types online, but held out till I saws the Battery Daddy. I bought 3 as gifts.Read more

This little box is a great thing to have. It is easy to fill with batteries and it is wonderful to have everything organized and secure in just one place. I used to keep the batteries in a plastic box, but they were all on top of each other. I didn’t know it wasn’t good for batteries to touch each other. So I had to go through all of the batteries that I had left and test them. This handy little box also comes with a battery tester so that made it easy to figure out which ones if any I needed to get rid of. This was handy because since I stored them the way I was storing them some of them were dead and I didn’t even know. I couldn’t figure out why my smoke alarms kept beeping even after I changed the batteries and it was because I was replacing the batteries with dead batteries and I didn’t even know. Loading the case was easy and it has quite a bit of space in it and extra space in the back for more “AA” batteries. I like that there are even spaces for more batteries in the handle. This was a good little investment and my hubby is happy because he doesn’t have to search for the batteries when he needs them!!Read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but this one is well earned and deserved. I’m not sure how thin and cheap it is even possible to manufacture “plastic” but these folks earn the gold medal for cheap, cheap and more cheap. Don’t waste your money on a product where they laugh at you, all the way to the bank. I am keeping this, placing it on a shelf to remind myself to stop being so stupid as to buying junk that is not “in hand” to evaluate. Run Forest, RUN!Read more

I paid $26 for this battery organizer. I was looking for a dual side storage system – to park the uncharged and charged batteries on separate sides. After using this battery organizer for over 3 months, here is what I think about the organizer- Right off the bat, I noticed that this organizer is a very cheaply made product. I am virtually certain that the seller gets it produced from a Chinese manufacturer for less than $5 each. The opening/closing latch is one of the worst I have ever tried. On top of that, the way product is designed, a AA or smaller battery can accidentally drop inside the section made for tester and it is very difficult to retrieve the battery. it is difficult to explain here in writing but it is frustrating. Coming to the tester- It does show if a battery is usable or dead. However, when it comes to usability, the accuracy of the tester is questionable. A fully charged battery would show barely at the edge of the green “Good” section. What is funny is that over 80% space in the meter is occupied by “Replace” and “Low” section. In nutshell, there are better alternatives out there. Spend little bit more money and get the one with better construction. If you order this and do not like, return within the return window. I got busy and forgot to return. But if return window were open, I would most definitely return it.Read more

This is a really great product & idea however it is cheaply made. It’s not a rough, tough item that you could throw around in your workshop as it could be very easily broken… Since i live in Northern Canada i also don’t think that it’s the type of product you can just leave out in your workshop during the cold winter months as it would crack… I’m still going to keep it as i’ve found nothing better. Good luck.Read more

I bought this as a gift for my dad. His batteries were very unorganized and he’d have to go through all sorts of them, and I’d have to check them with my battery tester every time the batteries in my parents remote needed changing. Now you can test them with the battery tester right in the kit, and he can keep all his batteries organized and in the same place. He has all sorts for all types of things from flashlights, to remotes, the smoke detector and so on. He’s very happy with it and I’m considering getting one for myself as well. I really love that it can hold every type of battery.Read more

This is a perfect way to store batteries and it stores a great deal of every size imaginable. You have to lay it down to open the side you want do not stand and open or you will have batteries all over the place…this is due to human error and not the product…I am please with it. I do worry that since the closing clips are plastic and tight, that they might break, but so far so good…I bought another one for my son…Read more
