Because of all the 5 star reviews, I bought OPI Nail Envy and applied it as directed. My soft, thin, short nails started growing and now they are long and strong for the first time ever! I am grateful so many people gave it 5 stars. Without the ratings, I may never have found this amazing product. It is a miracle. Update 2 years later. Down to 1 star! I should have believed other recent reviews. OPI changed the formula. It is now diluted. It doesn’t form the same protective coating on my nails. It just flakes off and my nails remain sof.Read more

I just ordered my second bottle, not because the first one is empty, but because I want to make sure I have more once it is! I’m 60 years old and my nails were becoming very brittle. I could reach into the cupboard for a plate and come out with a split nail. It’s like they were growing in layers and the top two or three would peel back, leaving a very thin and vulnerable nail. They were very ugly. I wish I’d taken a before picture so you could see. I fish, kayak, garden, do woodworking and home repairs and it was really taking a toll on my nails. Got some of this and I use it exactly as directed (two coats Day 1 and one coat every other day until Day 7 – remove and repeat). After 2 months, the difference is amazing. (I added a thin coat of beige color on Day 2 to hide the fact that I frequently have dirt under my nails!) Because of my lifestyle I like to keep my nails short but at least they look healthy and no more splits! It worked for me. Hope it works for you, too. Well worth the price.Read more

I will spare most people who don’t like to read long reviews and just get straight to the point: This stuff WORKS!!!!!!! DO NOT waste anymore money on any other products. Pictures speak for themselves. Nail Envy by OPI is literally the best nail strengthening polish out there. I could never, ever, in my life grow my nails past the edge of the nail bed. My nails became so strong and are actually growing. I recommend this product to everyone who has trouble growing your nails. Shipped fast, product as described and more. For those who do like to read long reviews: I’ve wasted probably about 200 some odd dollars on nail strengthening polish. I wont specify brands, but I’ve literally tried everything out there. From drugstore brands, to super fancy one’s. I’ve been disappointed so many times that I had practically given up. I accepted the fact that I have weak nails, and that I’ll never be able to grow natural, nice, long nails. With that said, I settled for acrylics (which I hate with a passion). I had acrylics off and on for about 5 years, damaging my nail bed more and more. When I would remove the acrylics to let my nails breathe for a day or two, they were brittle, thin, easily breakable and not at all attractive. Fast forward a few years of putting up with acrylics, nails chipping, breaking, and painful throbbing, I became fed up with the entire thing and went on a hunt for the best nail strengthening product and this time, I was determined to find one. After many hours of research, I found consistently good reviews about OPI Nail Envy so I thought, what would it hurt to try one more thing? Disclaimer: you DO have to be patient. It’s not going to happen overnight. It requires consistency, and a lot of patience. And having to deal with your nails being bare for a month or so. I’ve been using the product religiously for the past 4 and half months, and I am nothing less than impressed and shocked. My nails are growing longer than I am used to (even with the acrylics I would get) so I am a satisfied customer to say the least. They are strong and healthy, and while they’re not completely break-proof (obviously), I’ve banged them several times here and there and they’ve held up for the most part. This product is a miracle.Read more

MAKE SURE TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. I’m very lazy. I’m not a fan of doing things over and over, like reapplying every other day, removing once a week, and so on. I wanted longer nails, though, so I purchased this and followed the instructions for several weeks. It worked! My nails were definitely stronger and longer. However, I got lazy and stopped following up, and didn’t bother to take the stuff off. After about two weeks, there was a noticeable difference in the parts of my nails that had Nail Envy, and the parts that didn’t – the areas that did were really dirty, and eventually started to get sticky when I had them in water (doing dishes, etc.). I wiped them with a towel and got lint all over my nails, and gross sticky stuff on the towel. Lesson learned – Follow the instructions, and this stuff will do wonders. Don’t follow the instructions and be mildly inconvenienced by sticky nails.Read more

I used to be a terrible nail biter and this product has been an amazing help on my road to kicking the habit and finally growing strong healthy nails. It also works as a great base coat with most polishes, though I’ve found it especially effective when used with OPI colours and topcoats. I’m skeptical about the negative reviews here saying they caused damage. I buy mine from Ulta which is a similar price and I assume the people who had burning issues with this were sent a fake product. My only other comment is that the green original Nail Envy works best for me. The split & peeling nails and the matte versions didn’t seem to have the same effects. Though I’m yet to try the coloured versions. I’ve attached my (terrible) before and after photo. I’m not sure I could have turned my nails around without this product.Read more

I waited a while to write this review because I wanted to give it some time to see if the hype is really true or not. It is!! My nails have never been overly thick or strong. I’ve been painting them weekly for years and years – because I like to, but also, they always seemed a bit stronger with polish on. My bare nails would bend and tear. After a few months of shellac, they were at their worst. So weak and thin that they were catching and tearing, even when cut right to the fingertips… yeah, they were still tearing back into my skin! So painful and looked awful. So I switched this into my weekly painting routine. I added a drop of a high quality neutral pink so it would nice on its own, or used it as a base for other colours. My nails have now grown out long, with out bending or tearing. They are thick and strong. And its not just with the polish on.. Currently, for the first time in my life, I feel like I could actually go with naked nails and still trust their strength – thats how strong they feel! I cant even bend them if I try! If you’re trying to improve your nails (and you feel you can stick to a habit of painting regularly) definitely get this stuff! If you use it regularly it DOES really do wonders.Read more

Having successfully stopped chewing them and grown my nails using Nail Magic, they suddenly started peeling off in layers. I was told they were dry and brittle and to stop using Nail Magic now. I tried oiling them twice daily but the tips just kept splitting into layers and collapsing. Finally I bit the bullet and bought “Opi Nail Envy” despite the price, and noticed an immediate improvement as it stopped the edges lifting immediately. It is expensive, but it is good for your nails and it looks good too. Mine have held together and almost grown out the old brittle area in just a few weeks. They feel stronger too. Highly recommended!Read more

This stuff is amazing. Survived a house move, packing and unpacking boxes, assembling ikea furniture, doing diy- everything without a single chip on the polish or my nails- which remained strong and long. Amazing bombproof miracle polish! my nails have never been naturally this long, ever- they’d always break. I wish they did it in all colours!Read more

Photos uploaded… before using opi = nice long nails. After using opi = short stumpy nails I had really high hopes for this as I had heard such good things. I have always suffered with peeling nails which is why for the past 8+ years I have had gel overlays. Due to lockdown I found myself having to soak my ungodly long and outgrown nails off myself and go natural. I was expecting them to not be in the best condition so I ordered the OPI polish. My nails were quite long and well shaped, they lasted a week before the peeling began and with the peeling splits started to appear and with that my long nails were gone. Didnt find it strengthened the nails at all or helped with my peeling issue. My mum also suffers with peely nails and she gave it a try, and her nails were a peely mess everytime she took it off to put a new coat on as per the instructions. Also found that when applying layer after layer every other day the polish started to bubble and it didnt look very tidy. There are 2 good things however, it dries really fast and it’s really shiny, but I could get that in otherpolishes for much less than £20. It didnt do the job it advertises it can do Wouldn’t recommend.Read more

It contains formaldehyde. They should have pointed that out in the description. They offered to have me mail it back to them and they would return my money, but when I checked how much it would cost to mail it back I decided it wasn’t worth it, so I just threw it out.Read more
