I rarely have any difficulty applying a screen protector on any mobile device but this has given me problems with every screen included. First, you’re on your own when it comes to alignment. Other competitors have “wings” that you can hold so your fingers don’t obstruct the edge of the protector you’re applying. The best you will get here is a tab you peel off to expose the side to apply. That’s it. Because i have steady hands a bit of experience doing this, this wasn’t an issue for me but will pose a problem to others The biggest problem is that every single 4 of the screens included had an issue with sticking to the screen. No, i dont mean the usual bubble that presents itself and eventually disappears a day or two later, but there are parts of the protectors that do not catch to the screen. Imagine a scenario where a protector loses its adhesiveness because it is reapplied over and over. This is what i found out the gate on first applications. I am 9 bucks out of luck. The Switch Lite has a problem with screen protectors at the moment. My go to brand i typically use for screen protectors took an existing product of theirs used for another device and slapped a Switch Lite sticker on the box but does not fit appropriately. First of all; I’m not the best when it comes to installing a screen protector on any device, be it smart phone, gaming console, etc. That being said, it took me 2 tries to perfectly place my screen protector on my Switch Lite. The important thing to remember is, take your time and be sure you clean your screen thoroughly to remove all dust particles. There is nothing more frustrating than finding out there’s one speck of dust under the screen protector after you put it on. It happened to me unfortunately, but my second attempt was successful. I have found the hinge method to be very useful, if you don’t have a steady hand or are unsure. You can use the dust stickers to accomplish this and believe me, it makes it so much easier. After the screen protector was applied, there was only one small air bubble I had to rub out. It only took a few minutes to rub out. Now, I’ll list the Pros and Cons. Pros: 1. You get four screen protectors, other companies only give you three. 2. Orzly offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty, simply register your product at orzly.tech/warranty 3. These are much thinner than other brands. These are only .24mm thick, resulting in better sensitivity and clarity. 4. Very affordable and you get your money’s worth. 5. Good customer support. Cons: 1. Don’t be surprised if you get bubbles, it’s normal. It takes awhile to rub them out. 2. Trying to position the screen protector just right can take awhile. One reviewer mentioned the screen protector leaves residue on the screen. I have not experienced that, even after one unsuccessful attempt at applying it on my Switch Lite. I should mention that I only tried using two, but I wouldn’t be surprised if all of them were defective. Quality control is likely where they cut costs. If you’re someone that expects to break these protectors a couple times, it’s well worth the money. If you’re like me and planning to share one or two with a friend, look elsewhere. Neither of you will be happy. The first protector had a small sliver of glass missing from the corner edge. Being an even rectangle this is very obvious, even at a glance. Since tempered glass is holds an edge I had to replace it before it got caught on some thread. Fine, I have three more. Second one seemed fine up until I finished mounting it. There was a small speck of white in the bottom corner that I thought was dust. It wasn’t until I ran my nail across it that I found it was a tiny pit in the glass. Now I have a little white/rainbow speckle that mimics a dead pixel. The second one I can live with, but that’s not something you should have to do. Out of all the glass I’ve purchased for every which device, I’ve never had so many with defects right out of the box. I’ll stick with Amfilm or another brand. Amfilm doesn’t have as nice of a beveled edge, but at least you get your money’s worth.Read more

Maybe i got another bad batch but unlike what the reviews say it does not actually cover the switch lite screen completely. there is a small amount left uncovered, making it very hard to get lined up perfectly. you either have too much exposed on one side going left to right or too much on top or bottom (even when using the sticker door hinge install method). if you are very good at installing screen protectors and can get this one perfectly centered, you may be lucky and only have a millimeter or 2 gap exposed but its still not a perfect fit. The Orzly screen protector for the original switch fits perfectly, and i highly recommend it, however not for the switch lite. pass on this one. it almost seems like this one was made for a cell phone and not exclusively for the switch lite.Read more

I found this to be easy to put on as I avoided the pointless sticker for dust and simply wiped the screen with the cloth, then the alcohol pad, then the cloth (to dry alcohol). I barely had to lay it on top of the screen, just making sure that it lined up and watched as it adhered to the screen itself without bubbles. I took 1 star off because there is no need to purchase a 4 pack. I wish I would have been given an option to buy 1-2 instead of 4. Seems like a waste of money/product unless the manufacturer knows that these do not last long and I will have to put on another in a short period of time. Typically I have purchased screen protectors that last the life of the product before I end up selling/trading in.Read more

Although I had purchased a case for my switch lite, I decided it was worthwhile protecting the screen and this seemed a good value protector. It’s tempered glass so very strong and you get three spares as well if you need to replace one due to damage over time. Comes with almost everything you need in the package – the protectors themselves (obviously), alcohol wipes and dust grabbing stickers to clean the screen prior to application, a piece of flexible plastic which I assume is for pressing out any air bubbles you might get, and a microcloth for cleaning after. The only thing you don’t get that you will need is a soft cloth to dry the alcohol off before applying the protector. Don’t use regular tissues or similar for this, by the way. There is a good guide on youtube by Orzly themselves showing a good method to keep the screen in position when you remove the backing for the adhesive and apply it to the switch – I would recommend checking it out as this is the most critical part to get right in terms of positioning and to minimise the chance of getting air bubbles under the protector as it adheres to the console screen. I was fortunate enough to get mine on first time using their guide. As this is glass and not plastic, it is of course thicker than the inferior plastic ones but not enough to notice unless you’re looking for it and it gives much better protection. In terms of gaming, it doesn’t affect the sharpness of the image when you play. So I can recommend this fully – just be careful and take it step by step when you apply it!Read more

The Orzly Nintendo Switch Lite screen protector set came in a really nice packaging with alcohol wipes, dust removal stickers, and a cleaning cloth. Application was easy, I used the hinge method by taping one side of the glass to the console before application to ensure the best alignment. Instead of pushing down on the entire screen protector in an attempt to squeeze out any air bubbles, just tap down on one of the corners and the rest of the glass will anneal by itself, giving you a perfect fit with no air gaps. Orzly has designed the product to be re-applicable in case you do get air or dust underneath, I was able to lift up one edge and slide the dust removal sticker underneath to pull out dust that had become trapped during the application and it worked a charm. As for the screen protector itself, it’s made from high-quality glass with the exact same size and curvature as the screen of the Nintendo Switch Lite. This means no weird gaps around the protector, making it minimalistic and unobtrusive. The edges are also rounded and not sharp so you don’t get your fingers caught when using the touchscreen, which is a really nice touch (pun not intended). Visual clarity is excellent, there is no loss in screen brightness or detail. Touchscreen sensitivity is also unaffected. For the price, this is well worth it and probably one of the best options out there if you want some protection for your shiny new Switch Lite. Oh, and you get four in the pack. Great if you accidentally mess up during the application, even better if you get it in one go and have other consoles that need protecting within your family or friend circle. Great value.Read more

So I was bought a Switch Lite for Christmas and this was one fo the things I bought for it immediately to maintain it. This is going to be pretty brief as it is at the end ofd the day just a piece of glass. Pros: Excellent set. Includes anti dust tabs and wipes. There are also some stickers in the pack that I used as locators for the screen after i had removed the back of the tempered glass. I’m not sure if this was their intended purpose but they worked perfectly. The glass has not altered the function of the touch screen whatsoever. The picture clarity is still excellent. Cons: None functionally 3 months in. I think the fitting instructions might have been clearer for those possibly applying tempered glass for the first time. I’ve had to pit plenty to mobiles phone in the past so I tend to go with the following 10 STEPS TO SUCCESS. (Fit it in the bathroom) 1. Run the shower for a few minutes. 2. Place the tempered glass on the Switch 3. Whilst in place fit locator tabs to the surface of the glass and wrap them around the switch 4. Lift the glass and wipe the screen of the switch with the cleaning wipes. 5. Ensure that it is dry by using the polishing cloth. 6. Remove the back of the tempered glass 7. Slowly lower the glass onto the switch ensuring the tabs have stay taught. 8. Let the glass fall gently onto the glass of the Switch edge first. 9. It will naturally push out the air as it goes. 10. DO NOT WORRY IF YOU HAVE MINUTE BUBBLES THESE WILL GO IN 3 DAY, DO NOT TRY TO LIFT THE GLASS AND TRY AGAIN.Read more

Best of all you can’t even tell that It’s on there! I use a temporary class on every screen that I own. It has many more benefits compared to normal screen protectors. Bought these to fit to my bairn’s Switch light (almost 2 years ago, sorry late on the review). I have used only 1 from the pack and it is still fitted. The fit was easy (recommend the shower technique) and secure. My bairn has taken his SL with him everywhere we have gone and still the protector is fixed firm and in excellent condition (milage will vary with your experience, my weeone is good with his kit).
