Outsidepride Zinnia Zahara Raspberry Lemonade Flower Seed Mix – 50 Seeds A) 50 Seeds

(8 customer reviews)

Zinnias are an annual flowering plant growing in USDA zones 3 – 10. This flower seed mix grows 12 – 18 inches tall and wide
Zinnias are great at attacting bees and butterflies as well as being drought tolerant, heat tolerant, and low maintenance. They are also very hardy plants making them virtually carefree.
Zinnias are one of the easiest annuals to grow, and attract butterflies to the garden. They make an excellent cut flower as the more you cut, the more flowers you get! They thrive in the sun and heat of summer, only asking for well-drained soil.
Long lasting flowers are particularly attractive to butterflies and make a superb cut flower
Sowing Rate: 2 – 4 zinnia seeds per plant. When cutting the blooms for the vase it is best to trim off all the foliage; unlike the blooms, the foliage does not age well.

I planted all ’53’ seeds I received (yes I counted them) and only 14 sprouted. So disappointed. I am an experienced propagator and have sown many types of seed of the years, and I can say this seed, for the most part, was not viable seed.Read more

I bought these in 2020. I placed individual seeds in 3 planters and 90% grew, yay! Flower mix was 75% plain white, 5% white w/ pink, 5% pink, 15% yellow. After the plants died off I pulled them out completely and tossed. More came up again this year with the seeds that came off last year’s plants. I planted more seeds in 2021 in a different location and they also grew fine, but the color assortment was again disappointing with mostly white. The bloom is about the size of a golf ball. If you cut them fresh, they will last a week+ inside.Read more

I bought two of this type of zinnias from different retailers on amazon. One grew some greenery and got to be about a foot tall before suddenly dying. The other never grew a thing. Planted them and cared for them filling the instructions and instructions from the internet.Read more

I started two kinds of zinnia from seed. The Raspberry was slow to germinate and to grow. It is doing better in the garden but will have to wait and see on the flowers.Read more
