Our new puppy LOVES the snuffle mat, she only eats her kibble out of it, spoiled thing. As soon as I took it out of the box and un-cinched it, I noticed the fabric was really thick and didn’t separate very easily to hide kibble or treats well in, but it gets the job done. The FIRST time I tried to tie it back up, the whole cinching rope broke in half and there is no way it’s going back together, so the “easy storage” aspect of this is nonexistent now, but it’s okay for our purposes as we leave it out anyway. The fabric is coming apart at the edges but that’s to be expected for the price and for having a puppy with razor sharp baby teeth. All in all, I’m sure I’m making excuses so that I don’t feel like I wasted money, but at the end of the day, it’s washable, it serves the purpose intended, and keeps my pup busy when she eats. So overall, quality is subpar, but it’s cheap enough to not matter to me anyway.Read more

Update: after writing the below review, I was contacted very quickly by the seller who gave me a full refund on this product and communicated with me throughout the refund process. Highly recommend this seller! I have no issue with the seller, I received my order in a timely fashion, however I am not at all happy with the quality of the item. The felt is very stiff and leans to one side. I don’t know if washing will help or not. I don’t know about durability I just got it. It doesn’t have any suction to rate.Read more

I am a professional dog trainer and am always encouraging clients to try creative ways of feeding their dogs. I bring this along to my consults so that dogs can try it out and most of them enjoy it. I would use caution for dogs who like to rip and tear soft items because this will not survive those dogs. Regardless, unless you have a very tiny dog, this should always be used with some supervision. It is a great portable option of enrichment feeding though. You could use it in a crate or take it with you when out and about.Read more

Buddy loves this snuffle mat and I love that he is occupied for 10 minutes so I can eat my food. The grins on the bottom do nothing but he hasn’t tried to flip it over yet and I don’t mind him pushing it across the floor. The piece are tightly sewn in so he hasn’t been able to rip them out. This snuffle mat works great for my jack russell terrier. We use it at meal times to add extra brain stimulation into his daily routine and to help slow his eating. I have a 115lb for malamute mix and legit thought he was just going to flip it over and spill all of the food out of it like he does other toys, but this totally works! He loves it and it’s surprisingly durable. He’s really hard on puzzle toys, and while he’s definitely ripped some of the snuffle-strands out, it’s absolutely holding up. Distributing the food / treats through the mat is easy and it’s easy to clean. If you’re on the fence about this like I was, I definitely say go for it.
