I HIGHLY recommend these brushes for grout. If you are on the fence of “Ehhh do I NEED a grout brush? I could just scrub the floor…”. Stop. Get these brushes. They are stiff and cut down the elbow grease time incredibly. Plus you can use them on anything. I used products with mine, but I used the brushes in the pictures I took PROS: Sturdy, easy to clean, solid brushes. CONS: Hands may “hurt” a bit after use due to elbow grease. Pictures are the difference from when I cleaned the bathroom floor vs the hallway. Update 12/18/20: So I just used these to clean my glass shower door tracks and they worked like a complete dream! I keep finding uses for these!Read more

The bigger brush stayed together without fraying for my entire laundry room. I could do many more rooms with this brush- unlike a toothbrush! Buy them!Read more

A big step up from toothbrushes, which I have used for many years prior to buying these. Key improvements over toothbrushes – angled handles that get your hands up and out of the way; the handles are bigger and grippier than a toothbrush; the larger brush has pretty stiff bristles which are great for heavy scrubbing without scratching; the smaller brush has tapered softer bristles on one end (good for cleaning in tight areas), and the rubber nub on the other end of the smaller brush is surprisingly good for cleaning in tight areas. I replaced the four toothbrushes in my cleaning kit with these. My cleaning kit – a tray/bucket that holds a spray bottle with Dr. Bronner Sal Suds mixed in water, a spray bottle with 50% vinegar and 50% water, a shaker with baking soda, these brushes, a microfiber rag, a sponge with scrubber back, a stiff scrub brush with handle, Barkeeper’s Friend and some rubber gloves. This cleans everything in the house. Sinks, tubs, toilets, showers, counters, etc.Read more

I’m not understanding the hub bub of all the five star reviews. Yes, these have angled heads. Yes, they have comfy rubber grips. No, they’re not all that much more impressive than a good hard toothbrush. I like these, yes. That’s the verbiage associated with a four-star ratings. But I don’t love them (five-star verbiage). Maybe I just spent too many days scrubbing and cleaning on a Navy ship to get too excited about small cleaning utensils. Still, they’re decent brushes and they work fine, but the value-to-price ratio isn’t enough to award that extra star. Still, I recommend them — they will no doubt work fine for you.Read more

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, these brushes! I usually used tooth brushes to help me get a good clean in small areas, but I found myself really having to scrub with them which did damage to the brushes. And when that happened, the brushes were then no good to me. I was moving out of my old house and had to get it cleaned to Military Specs as it was base housing, and I needed something to really help me get it cleaned. I found this brushes and though, those might help me with the grouted areas, so for $6 I thought it couldn’t hurt. As soon as I started using them, I just couldn’t stop! I used them for grout, corners, cabinets, hard to reach places around my kitchen/bathroom faucets, around the base of my toilets, the inside of my windows, you name it and I cleaned it with them! After I finished my old house, I some how misplaced them and I was DEVASTATED! Needless to say, I ordered another set and began cleaning my new house with them. I have already recommended them to everyone I know and will continue to do so. These are one of my new favorite cleaning tools. I LOVE them, and could not praise them enough!!Read more

Gosh if I wanted to use a toothbrush I woulda used a toothbrush. I purchased these expecting the bristles to have some umph, you know be flexible but mean and bad against mineral deposits. They are no different than toothbrushes which I already have a ton of. I would not buy again and would no recommend.Read more

The brushes are sturdy but the bristles are way to short to be effective. I purchased them to clean small areas of window sills. A good quality toothbrush is more useful since the bristles are longer and can reach into the small spaces.Read more

This set is the best friend of those who hate cleaning bathroom fixtures. Instead of scrubbing and scraping, you can give a few comfortable whisks with one of these brushes and the job is done. The brushes are particularly good at quick-cleaning the back of the faucets where you normally can’t see what you are doing. Also good at keeping the silver drain rings shiny. Couldn’t be happier with this set. Recommend it highly.Read more

I buy most things made by OXO Good Grips as they are durable, functional and well designed. This has not disappointed. The brushes are great for my bathroom- I use the blue set from the same range for my kitchen cleaning. These ones are fab for scrubbing in the nooks and tiles etc and getting the mouldy bits from in between the shower screen and around the neck of the taps etc. Saves me always having to keep an old manky toothbrush for cleaning!Read more

i saw other people had stated you get the same performance out of a used toothbrush so was reluctant to buy but the difference is greater than that. yes, sometimes an old toothbrush will do but these are better because of the angle and the strength of the bristles. i have a 5 pack of toothbrushes from the pound shop for things like trainer bottoms but these are kept for less filthy, more worthwhile jobsRead more

A bit disappointed. I wanted them to scrubb off the burnt bits in the grooves of a Circulon non-stick frying pan. Although they are very well made, comfortable and accurately designed, the bristles are not stiff enough and they just get softer and more useless in warm water. The description suggests they would be good for tough jobs. I am sure for more delicate and precise jobs, they would be fine. Full marks to Amazon though as they have offered to refund with the minimum of fuss.Read more

I bought these for my wife, not as a gift, but with the hope they would make dealing with her obsession with cleanliness easier. They helped. Her praise for these little brushes concentrated on two areas – the size of the handles, and the bristles. She has small hands and was impressed that the brush handles are comfortable for her to hold while bearing down on the bristle head. Who knew that was a common problem? Her second area for praise was the bristle head itself, saying that the quality of the bristles meant they could take that pressure without completely collapsing. Unlike what you just did, I actually said, “HUH” out-loud. Her answer sounds quite logical; the reason for using a bristle brush in the first place is to get something abrasive into those little places that other scrubbers can’t get into. Once in those tight places, the bristles are abrasive, but only if their ends are doing the abrading. If, under pressure they collapse, you end up trying to clean with the bristles’ shafts, which a) can’t get into those tight little spaces, and b) aren’t very abrasive in the spaces they do get into. See? Sometimes OCD is educational, too. For those of you thinking that instead of buying her little scrub brushes, I should be down on my knees helping her scrub, I have to say that you don’t have a clue about OCD. I can move things and bring her stuff, but if I do the actual cleaning, it makes her more antsy, that feeling growing exponentially until she is able to re-clean what I just cleaned. Poor tools are also an OCDer’s nightmare, which is why I included her affliction in this review. If my wife is happy with something like this, it deserves the best review I can give it. For us, OCD is not an affliction. It’s a fun, little quirkiness that keeps life interesting. A quick suggestion to lengthen the life of these brushes; store them with a wide elastic band around all the bristles. The band should be large enough to rein-in stray bristles and those curving outwards from use, causing them to join the head and stand as close to perpendicular as it is reasonable to do. The band should not be so tight as to cause the round-rectangle shape of the head to become a circle at the bristles’ ends. (OK, so maybe my wife isn’t the only OCDer in the house)Read more

I purchased this product for deep bathroom cleaning around taps and in grout lines. The product arrived today and I tested it to remove filler dust that had fallen between floor tile joins. As the pictures show, it is very effective. The rubber point was expectedly effective for the above task. The bristles are firmer than that of a firm toothbrush which is better for suborn cleaning. Is comfortable to hold and effective to use. I hope it lasts.Read more
