The design idea behind this product is great, but the quality is terrible. The cooler will keep food reasonably cool until lunchtime if I keep it at my desk, but you’re chancing it if you eat anything at quitting time. I really expected it to stay cooler longer, however this is keeping it at room temperature. If I keep it in the company fridge, it will stay much cooler for much longer, but if I have to keep it in the fridge, what good does it’s cooling feature really give me at that point? I could deal with the cooling time, however I am very disappointed in the quality. Within a couple of months, the closing flap tore at one corner which caused the Velcro patch on that side to keep coming loose. Within a few months after that, I have given up getting any of the three Velcro patches to hold anymore. If they held, then the torn flap wouldn’t have been so bad of an issue. All in all, I can hardly recommend a product that is put together so poorly, even if the cooling features were stellar. I am not going to purchase this brand again.Read more

We had been buying these bags for several years as my kids liked the look and functionality. Well, no more! I thought I was smart buying several at a time knowing the Velcro closure wouldn’t last all school year, and just in case a bag got lost at school. So here I am thinking I was ahead of the game and already had two brand new Pack-It’s from last year my kids could use —but wait!!! The side walls were completely inflated like a balloon and left no room inside the bag for food. What would do that but some kind of chemical leak sealed within the ice pack compartments?! When I emailed the company they said they were aware of this happening and that their products only had a lifespan of one year. Silly me for supporting this company and buying multiple bags in advance! We have two brand new bags that are completely unusable and Pack-It could care less. **Beware since you don’t know how old the bag already is that you’re buying. It could have been in storage for a while before it got to you. **Read more

That’s a great product but I wish they had the larger version. Can’t fit any Tupperware with my lunch in it when the bag is frozen unless you put it sideway I couldn’t close it. They might want to call it MINI lunch bag. Good for a small box or sandwich and fruits.Read more

This is my third PackIt lunch bag. My first one was fantastic. It lasted about 3 years before it stopped staying cold as long as I needed it to. Then my second one was only a few months old before it started to get mold on the bottom. I looked on here and people didn’t seem to have the same issue, so I thought it must be a fluke. Now, I’m on my third, this one and I don’t understand why you would make the bag fold through the bottom panel. It folds and then freezes and it’s impossible to have a flat bottom and your stuff hardly fits. Then you have to only sort of fold it up to put it in the freezer to make sure it’s flat on the bottom and it never really fits nicely in the freezer. Not sure what’s happening with this company, but this will be my last.Read more

We have several PackIts, and find the latest design disappointing. No doubt the designers had a reason to make each change, but we find them disappointing. The repositioning of the handle from being attached to the bag lid to being attached to the back of the bag moves the weight of the bag off the lid (and thus off the velcro connection between the lid and the bag), but it’s now off center and makes the bag more difficult to carry. The inclusion of a zipper closure underneath the lid may help keep cold in, but the zipper itself has semi-squared edges that are difficult to zip past. Finally, the two piece bottom (as opposed to the previous one piece) allow for a larger bag, but is less stable when the bag is standing up. None of these are deal killers, but the previous design was more pleasant to use and carry.Read more

Awesome lunchbox! I have included photos below to show the product and uses for it. This is a great lunchbox for a great price! Alot of lunchboxes out there are just your standard ones for a high price, but this really stands out. One of the best things I like about this is how you can stick it in the freezer and in the morning it is frozen (as there is icepacks in the lining of the bag) so you don’t to worry about adding anything cold. Another great feature of this lunchbox is that if you are trying to fit in a tight space, like a small or tight backpack, it easily folds up to fit, even with items in it. I have been using this lunch box for a few months now and it shows no sign of wear, so it definitely pasts the durability test! I purchased this cooler bag for my fellas larger insulated lunch box. We live in Texas so it’s already super hot here, and I thought this would be a great idea to keep all of his cold stuff together and not have his lunchbox a wet mess from ice packs. The idea is great and the size of the box is roomy as well ( 2 bottle waters, 1 can soda, 1 16oz body Armor, and a container for yogurt). Day one he came home and said it didn’t stay cold until lunch so we added an ice pack to the bag and that helped, but it took away some room. It also isn’t very durable. After just a week of use it already has a tear in it. I’m sure it will work for a box that isn’t out in the elements, but for a grown man taking to an outdoor job I wouldn’t recommend at all.Read more

I am very pleased with this little sandwich bag! It is perfect for my son’s school lunch. It will hold a small food flask plus two small sandwich Tupperware boxes and still room for a banana! It is very well made and comes with a carry handle. I haven’t used it from the freezer yet but I can see that this little feature will be very beneficial during the summer months when it will keep my son’s lunch cool. It is very pleasing to find a product that does exactly what it says it does and is designed and made to fulfill that aim! Sellers service was also first class with very fast delivery.
