I’ve been using this for a full month now under my ceraVe moisturizing cream and i really love it. It’s my favorite serum because it checks all the boxes! super hydrating, lightweight and the finish is really smooth and not sticky! I also love that it’s a large 5.07oz and I will absolutely repurchase when I run out. I didn’t notice any difference with my acne thoughRead more

I saw this serum on here. I love Papa Recipe products so I had no doubt in my mind that it would be worth the price tag. And I was right! My skin loves it and I plan to keep this serum in my skincare routineRead more

I don’t really get blemishes anymore, but sometimes I feel tiny closed comedones which is a bit annoying. I wanted to try this because I’ve had pretty good experiences with Papa Recipe. They aren’t lying when they say ‘large volume’, because it’s honestly the largest serum product I’ve seen. One pump should be enough as it spreads/absorbs pretty well. After using for over a month, I think it’s helping a lot, but I will probably have to go to a dermatologist to get some extractions. But it’s also been helping with maintaining moisture for my combination skin as well. Overall I think it’s definitely worth trying and adding to any skincare routine, especially with the amount you get and the price point.Read more

There’s a lot to like with this serum. It’s scent-free, the bottle size is really good for the price, and it works! I don’t normally use skincare products, but after noticing some unevenness in my skin, I decided to try this. I’ve been using this as part of my nighttime routine, and after washing, I apply it liberally on my face and neck. So far I’ve been using this for over two weeks now, and have noticed that my skin feels softer, and it has a healthy glow. So I’m really impressed, to say the least. However, as someone who’s naive about skincare products and ingredients, I did not realize that this has ingredients that can make your skin more prone to sunburn. I went out for a quick walk one sunny, winter afternoon without sunscreen, and I could feel the sun burning my face and felt the sting for about 24+ hours. Learning my lesson, I made sure I had sun protection the next time I went out on a sunny day and have not had any problems since. Overall, I highly recommend this product. Just make sure to wear sunscreen when you go out :)Read more

The Papa Recipe Blemish Serum is not a traditional “blemish” treatment in terms of the lack of exfoliants (AHAs and BHAs) you might expect. Instead, this is intended to hydrate and nourish the skin barrier. The first ingredient is galactomyces ferment filtrate, a yeast derived from sake, which is mineral/amino acid/antioxidant-rich. It is found in both high-end (think SKII) and drugstore brand Korean skincare. This clear gel serum from Papa Recipe comes in a suitable 5oz plastic pump and retails for ~$25, as of this writing. I think it is a fantastic deal for a galactomyces concentrated product. Can be used AM and PM and pairs well with most skincare. Two pumps are more than enough to cover your face and neck. Melts into the skin without feeling heavy, greasy, or sticky. No color or fragrance. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, dry, and oily. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality and use of this GFF concentrated serum. It is affordable and effective.Read more

There are a couple nuances being a westerner who uses asian skincare items these days. In this case, I believe that “blemish serum” doesn’t refer to just acne-care like it might in an American product. Instead it refers to things that are blemishes to the appearance of your face, things that contribute to an uneven skin tone, or to an uneven surface (dry flakiness). I don’t have much acne but I really like this serum because it’s hydrating and I’m getting really into fermented products lately. The bottle is pretty large. No fragrance. The other thing about being a western into skincare from asian countries, is that it can be hard to tell which brands are legit and which aren’t so legit. I usually steer clear of products that tout being K Beauty on their listing because they seem like they are pandering to a western audience who might not know any better. That being said, I love Papa Recipe and it’s a reputable brand (known best for their Honey Bombee line).Read more

This “Papa Recipe Blemish Serum Moisturizing hydrating serum Large volume Galactomyces ferment filtrate Hyaluronic acid. Bakuchiol Dewy looking skin Smooth skin texture for sensitive skin 150ml 5.07 Fl Oz” … face serum is huge, so it is a good value. I handed this serum over to my teenager who gets pimples. She says this serum is really slippery, and, if she uses too much, it’s tacky on her skin. I advised her to use less, and she says it makes her skin feel soft when she only uses a tiny bit, so amount is key to the right texture. She likes to put it on her skin at night and treats it like a maintenance product. Overall, I personally think the world of Papa Recipe face masks, and my daughter has used them, too, and loves them, so it’s no surprise that this serum reflects the quality we expect from this company.Read more

This is great serum. It’s priced very well. At the amount of product and quality you are getting it’s almost a steal! I have combo skin type with a little bit of sensitive skin. This serum did not make me break out or cause dark spots. I incorporated it into my Korean skin care 7 steps routine. The product works amazing. Once it dries out, it doesn’t pull your skin. On the opposite it makes it plump, moisturized and dewy. 10 out of 10 recommend! For your reference I am 33 y.o. So I try to use products that keep my face well moisturized to prevent wrinkles. And this product is great.Read more
