My neighbor is a Fireman with his help. It was easy. But we needed more Rope! So. He had some. Easy to install but you are going to need , More rope. Last storm we had this tree was on a slant. 3 weeks later did not work twice wind pulled stakes out of ground. and we did it with a truck professionally. not strong enough. do not recommend!Read more

I got this because our umbrella-style portable clothes drying rack kept tipping over outside in the wind. We used this to anchor it- wrapped it around the center pole and anchored it to the ground. Works great! However, make sure you anchor it somewhere that you won’t have to mow!Read more

I change from the rope to straps easier to tighten (wind etc.) Otherwise works ok Oh forgot, I changed the spikes to those dog rings you screw in the ground, so I guess the only thing I used was the straps that go around the tree.Read more

I think the stakes need to be much taller for the straps to stay up. They just keep falling down–I think because the angle is too great and my new tree’s trunk is too small. Seems durable but waste of money for me.Read more

The stakes should be a little longer to insure they hold in the ground. The straps should be rounded and padded so the edges don’t cut into the bark. Worst of all the cord won’t hold a knot. Not sure what the cord is made of (nylon?) but you tie a knot and it comes loose almost immediately. Bought rope that I think will hold a knot to replace what came with the product.Read more
