Have had range finders before and this is the best I’ve had (and for a fraction of the cost). I set it on slope mode once, and it stays on that mode unless I change it. As soon as I find the flag it locks in and vibrates – instantly and automatically. I’ve checked its distance against the distance showing on my buddies $300+ range finders and the distance is spot on. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Great product at a killer price.Read more

The product was well packaged in a box with bubble wrap. Unboxing the rangefinder, I found it was simple to use not even looking at the instructions. It came with a pouch with a magnetic lid and a clip, separate batteries, a lanyard, a microfiber cloth for the lense, and how to use instructions. I immediately went to the driving range to try it out. At the range I messed with all modes and found that it does what its supposed to. I even pointed it at US flag that was at the far end of the range. It showed me that it was 467 yards away and it had a huge slope ( I’m sure it was a large slope because it was high up in the air). I pointed it at each marker from the 100 yard mark to the 300 yard mark. I was surprised to find it was right on the money give or take a yard or two off. Oh, it also came with a warranty card if something was to happen to it.Read more

Purchased one a couple years ago for the golf specific features. I have a high dollar non golf rangefinder but wanted the flag lock and slope functions. I used it for many many rounds. I needed a second rangefinder to make travel easier and bought a lower priced rangefinder only to return it. The first and second both work flawlessly for pin lock. I always shoot the flag at least twice before taking an approach shot. The pin lock distance never varies by more than one yard. It takes about 1 second to obtain flag lock distance. I can’t recall ever getting a repeat flag lock on trees or other objects behind the pin. The slope adjustments seem reasonable and generally play to the calculated distance returned. There might be a couple detractors for some folk: The unit uses two AAA batteries instead of being rechargeable. I actually like the AAA feature. Less expensive than the CR-2 that some rangefinders use and don’t have to deal with worrying about the charge level before an outing. I carry spare AAA’s in my bag. The case for the rangefinder is smaller than the typical case that top end and other units come with. I don’t bother with the case and pull and replace it from/to a pocket on my bag. I leave it in the bag when off the course.Read more

This range finder works super great. My friend and I compared distances and they were both with in one yard of each other. I’m extremely happy with the rangefinder and has actually helped me improve my game. Knowing the correct distance has made the difference. It’s very easy to hit the flag with the range finder even if my hand shakes. Great range finder and good price.Read more

I have now played 4 rounds of golf using the PEAKPULSE LC600AG rangefinder. Comparing it to other brands used by friends the Peakpulse was always within a yard of having the same distance. Occasionally, It did give a distance that I knew was way off. I figured it picked up something in the background. I would just recheck and then it would give the correct distance. I would always check the distance at least twice and the distance would be within one yard. It is a big help knowing whether the pin is in the front, middle or rear of the green.Read more

Considering Peakpluse costs a third of those from recognized brands (e.g., Bushnell), I was pleasantly surprised at the distance accuracy. I first calibrated on the range and accurately measured the 100-150-200 markers. Same results on the course. It has a very light case so easy to carry, but one recommendation is to hold in both hands to get a better lock on the target. This model doesn’t have a switch for the slope setting, but if you need to turn the slope off, you can do it by switching modes – 3 of them. There are other Peakpluse models with the switch, but it may cost a bit more. Recommend this product for all golfers.Read more

This was a gift for my husband, he had an issue learning how to set up and test it. He sent a text to the company and got a text back very quickly. He was told what to do if that did not work the company would replace it! It was an operator error so all was good. He loves it. I now know the yardage to every tree in our yard and the slope.Read more

The rangefinder arrived quickly and did work, but I got differences of 10 to 14 yards when attempting multiple measurements of the same target at the same distance. I thought part of the difference from one measurement to the next might have been my fault, as it can be difficult to hold the rangefinder steady on the target in an open setting. But I also found a 6 yard fluctuation when repeatedly measuring the distance to a large wood fence. I decided the rangefinder wouldn’t serve my purpose and returned it.Read more
