If you are a mechanic or a dentist this is great. If you are a student or a doctor who hates his patients and would like to permanently maim their vision by incineration their retinas, these are also great. These pens are just way to bright to use around patients eyes. Animals or people. The on/off button stuck the second time I clicked it. I had to click it several times before it returned to the correct position. This alone is enough to make me wish I had bought something else. The customer service is good. The item was delivered promptly. It was packaged very well in the box, and all the parts were there. It feels solid in your hand, and looks good. But, when I went to load the AAA batteries into the first one, I discovered that the clip was a problem. At least, for me. The clip is not attached to the barrel. That’s okay, but if you do not know this, you run the risk of dropping the clip on the floor or desk. The clip itself does not fit over the barrel. Instead, it fits over the cap. So, you have to thread the cap back on the barrel while maintaining the clip, and that makes it hard to thread. I found it annoying, and would not like to have to do this in front of a patient. You could elect to not use the clip, and I suppose that is the point. Not everyone will need the clip. I just think that you should know. But, it is not acceptable that the rubber covered on/off button hung up on something during use. It had a very cheap feel to it. For crying out loud, it is a $15 eyelight!Read more

ok I’ll admit- i’m THAT nurse. Coming home after a 12 hour shift, possibly for the third day in a row, and I ALWAYS forget about my pen lights. They’ve both taken 2-3…or more….trips through the wash and still work perfectly. Choice of warm or cool lighting as well as battery included. Click button is very comfortable. Kinda heavy but VERY durable as result. Careful though- if you set them down at work they will quickly “walk away”!!Read more

This is an easy to set up and durable set and I didn’t have problems with any of the pens that I bought. I really like that on the side of them they have a small millimeter ruler on the side. What I don’t like is that the numbers aren’t next to the the ruler but that’s not a huge deal. It comes with two replacement bulbs and two packs of batteries one for each pen light. They seem to be really durable and I thought it was a cute gift for anybody going into the medical field. The light is also pretty powerful if anybody just needed a small travel light. I keep mine with me because I often work on small tech so it’s very helpful for that as well. Definitely worth it and I would buy it again. The manufacturers also didn’t put too much packaging so it’s pretty simple small packaging that doesn’t feel wasteful like some packages do.Read more
