Don’t listen to the haters! This is an amazing tool for helping you make your quality dreams come true! I have moved into high hydration pizza dough, 70%. Before I got this peel, I was having to really flour up (or corn meal up) the solid aluminum peel. All of that flour was preventing the crust to crisp up. All of that has changed with this perforated peel. I made my pizza on a wooden board with nothing but a light sprinkle of flour. After adding the toppings, I could shove the new peel under the pizza effortlessly! I use a Pizza Pronto oven, it was up to 700 degrees. I placed the peel so that pizza was near the far edge of the oven and, with a quick pull, the pizza landed neatly on the oven floor. Beautiful!!! The crust was the best I have ever made. Ok as-is. The metal handle it comes with is ugly and the silicon grip gets gross. I opted to throw out the handle and make my own out of wood (Oak specifically) and I’m much happier now. Also wet sanded the aluminum peel to make it smoother so pizzas slide great.Read more

I got this to use with my Ooni Fyra wood fired pizza oven. Works great for stretching the dough on and adding toppings, easy to launch into the oven, and I use it to pull the pizza out and turn it.Read more

The media could not be loaded. I read a lot of reviews before I picked this pizza peel. We have never done homemade pizza before, this was the first time. The attached video is the third pizza that day. A little mixture of cornmeal and flour on the peel and it came right off on to the stone. Is very well-made and I highly recommend it.Read more

I tried 4 other peels and this is the first one where the pizzas slid off *every*single*time*. With others I had a few sad (but comical) events where I tossed the toppings into the oven while the dough stuck to the peel. This is way better.Read more

Coating peeling of easy, could be toxic, if it peels off on the stone and then on the bottom of your pizza to me its crucial , advertised as 12″ but its 11.6″, again to me its important, i would only buy Aluminum peel with no coating on it. i advise you do the same.Read more

Having just purchased an Ooni pizza oven I quickly discovered my wood pizza peel was great for sliding in the pizza, but not so great for getting them out. Often the thicker wood caused the pizza to get pushed back rather then slide underneath. This solved the problem. Slide in with the wood, turn and remove pizza with this peel. I haven’t burnt a pizza since.Read more
