The world has not come together on all the exact application of the Dielectric greasy. Some people use it on almost everything and some get behind the “it doesn’t conduct electricity”. Of course it doesn’t conduct electricity, it just help protect the components from corrosion -water-humidity-salt-dirt… But still is a debate where to use it. I have seen people on the internet using it on almost everything. They show tests where you can see that it takes a extremely small amount of conductivity from the connection but is almost nothing if the connection is conducting a decent amount of energy. I’m still not sure if I should get all the connections on my dirt bike and just make sure they are protected or if I gonna create a bigger problem. I guess I’ll start by doing a few and if nothing bad happens …i’ll just continue. 🙂 These may not help that many people but I put out there what I have found. BTW the tube is bigger than I thought what it’s nice! 🙂 UPDATE: I have used in every possible connection I have found on my Yamaha TW200 and so far I haven’t have any problem. The only thing I haven’t tried yet are fuse… everything else it’s been working fine for months. :)Read more

Hate that nasty white corrosion that occurs on car battery terminals? Well a light coating of this on the terminal post and all over the connector that fits on the terminal and I almost never see the corrosion anymore, even after more than 5 years. Never had any problems with the battery connection due to the grease. Just make sure that you don’t use it like regular grease to lubricate bearings and joints because it has no lubrication additives and gets very thin when it gets hot. This is meant for electrical connections only. It also works great to put a small dab on the terminal end of spark plugs (the end where the wire or coil pack attaches to) and it makes removal much easier down the road. The size of this tube is probably enough to last the rest of my life, but I will happily buy it again if needed.Read more

NEVER FORGET TO USE THIS STUFF. Plain and simple. If you have wires and boots you wont kick yourself as hard but if you have coil on plug, or spark plug wires with long boots, you will want this!! Not only does it protect against water and dirt but it also lubricates the boot so you can actually remove it when the time comes!!! A couple broken/stuck coil boots taught me that real quick. And with the price for this size of grease, its a no brainer. Put it on battery terminals, put it around connectors. Its great stuff. Ill never do a tune-up without it again.Read more

The real thing with no additives or ‘stretchers’ like teflon or petroleum (OK for some uses, but not for many). The good stuff for electrical, high voltage, Brake and Hi-Temp machinery, O-ring lubricant, syringes, pumps, valves, etc. This is a fairly priced commodity used by most industrial businesses and also has many DIY applications. I wrote this review because finding the pure thing on the net can be difficult. It’s common to receive mixtures sold as sold as “silicone grease” that just won’t do the job. (you cannot use petroleum around oxidizers, some melt, some contaminate systems or attack some rubber compounds etc) so I decided to make life a bit easier for those of you looking for real silicone grease. (for auto brakes, it isn’t critical and there are many good brake lubes out there (I like the Permatex 21425 ceramic stuff in the purple jar), but you can use this for most applications involving heat, aggressive chemicals and electricity. Applications Include: Bulb sockets, connectors, plug wires and boots, hydraulic valve o-rings, use on threads and electrical connectors in the salt/rust belt so your connectors and flare nuts rust more slowly, You can wipe a film on car window gaskets (NOT on the wipers in the door), to keep the windows from freezing shut, put some on the key and work into locks for the same effect, Lubes and protects from corrosion mechanical control cables (wipe on inner cable before installing in sheath), I’ve even used it on the closures for high power rocket engines – Dr Rocket and homebrew motors (pure silicone is the only grease safe to use with oxidizers like N2O), and it’s foodsafe so OK to use for homebrewing equipment valves etc. (the other kind). Anyway, if you need real silicone grease, you know all this. The Dow Corning “High Vacuum Grease” in the white and green tube is the same stuff, also highly recommended but usually is more expensive. Sorry to run on over grease. Buy it!Read more

A silicone grease with lower viscosity than standard products used for pool equipment O-rings, etc. I use this product for automobile weather stripping and windshield wiper blade UV protection. Also works well on rubber plumbing components such as toilet tank flush balls & flaps. In the event your toilet ball / flap is slow leaking, remove it and clean both the valve seat and ball / flap mating surfaces with paper towels, apply a thin coat of silicone grease to the ball / flap in the mating region and then reassemble. For Delta faucet ball valves, remove valve ball and soak in Lime Away if lime deposits are present (do not use abrasives as may cause permanent damage), lube rubber spring caps with silicone grease and reassemble.Read more

This is proper dielectric grease not the usual runny silicone grease. Useful for protecting all electrical connectors not just automotive. Purchased FBA Reviving Europe.Read more

Used this for my custom keyboard build on my (Backspace/Enter/Shift) keys works great I would not recommend you use it on the spacebar as it is too thick and will make it too stiff/horrible feeling.Read more

The package arrived in awful condition, the quality leaves a lot to be desired- which is why I deducted a star from the overall rating. Other than that, the lube was perfect for switches and stabilisers! Made my keyboard sound a lot better! Price isn’t too bad either given that it’s quite a big tube. Would recommend!Read more

We have a 207 Peugeot and they have a problem with water going up the first ecu plug wires so you get a misfire and it corrodes pons so I put this on ecu plug and squeezed the grease up the plug and it’s stoped the water going in now so very happyRead more

I used this to lubricate some stabs on a mechanical keyboard, worked great! It is too thick for the switches themselves, for that I’d reccomend Krytox 105.Read more
