   I thought this was a chalk board, my mistake. It’s a very thin piece of plastic so you cannot use chalk on it. I ordered the liquid chalk markers so I’m hoping it will turn out like the picture, we’ll see. The front looks just like the picture, very colorful. I got the liquid markers and they work great! After I wiped the board clean I could very faintly see what I had just written and because it’s so thin, any hard pressing will indent it. I figured that once it’s decorated and you take a picture from afar it won’t matter.Read more

   Waste of time and paper, first it didn’t arrive on time. Second it is not a chalkboard its more like a poster boar. SUPER THIN like PAPER. Also package only had First Day of School so missing half of the product. Can’t wait to return this, way over priced for a piece of paper! You can buy an actual dry erase board for first day of school at Target for $5.Read more

   I like the layout. I don’t like that they were flimsy and bent up when I received them. I tried to fix them but was unable. The durability is not worth the money I paid. I have been to local stores in which they we thicker and more sturdy for the same price I paid. I would not recommend buying them.    Okay so this sign is very appealing with bright colors. I just wanted to state that it is NOT double sided! I saw some reviews it was and then saw “2pc” so I thought great! I can have a sign for each kid for the 1st day of school for $14… I started filling them out and it was blank on the back ( as you can see I started doing one for the other kid and saw “last day” lol ) This is partially my fought for not reading more clearly. The “2pc” is one side “first day” and second piece “last day” Soooo it turned into almost $30 for the signs lol It is very thin but doesn’t feel too cheap. I think if you use them and store them nicely they should definitely last a few years. I am wondering if they changed it bc some people wanted to adhere it to a thicker frame? I don’t know but it is very thin, you could add it to a frame if you want, is not double sided, and if you have two kids starting school on the same morning.. buy two!Read more

   Ended up working for what I needed but was not what i expected. The size is great and the layout was awesome… however the material is EXTREMELY thin. Being said, my one board was already bent when it arrived in the mail- Bummer since I didn’t even use it- and you’ll have to store them in a good place bc they can get torn easily.    I like how it looks but I’m overall disappointed. The product is super thin and flimsy. Because it’s so thin, mine was damaged in many different spots. I was bummed out because it’s gorgeous to look at but I was hoping to buy something to last for a couple of year. This probably isn’t it.    First of all, it is not double sided but even if it was it’s still SUPER flimsy! If you’d like to display it, maybe get a frame and you can write on the glass on the frame with chalk marker to keep board in tact and not look so used and dirty if you want to reuse for more years to come. Wish I thought of this before because the smears and marks are seen and it does not look nice if I’m to reuse it for 1st day of kinder next year. Also had damage at the corner but when taking the photo, I just had my son hold that part to cover. I think next year I will find a more durable board on Etsy since Amazon is very limited on quality boards.Read more

   This is not a chalkboard, so if that is what you are after, look elsewhere. But if you want something that resembles a chalkboard that you can use as a photo prop then this is perfect. It looks just like the picture. It is easy to write on and you can easily wipe off the chalkboard marker with a bit of water and re-use it for the next school year. I read on one of the chalkboard pen reviews that the white pen does leave a mark/stain, so I only used the other colours and had no problem wiping them off. I do not have much storage space so I was pretty pleased that these boards are quite thin and easy to store.Read more

    Although I was worried when I first opened them because they are paper based, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the chalk marker I used washed off completely. I hope I am able to keep them safe from bending for years to come because they meet the mark. Easy for kids to hold as well. They also arrived quick being on prime so I didn’t have to worry about arrival delays getting close to school start.Read more
