1.There is no more fees from the first order.
2.The working principle of Petfon is tracker use GPS signal transfor the location from controller to Petfon APP, so please do remember to take the controller together with your phone. And if you really wanna put controller at home, then please order our mesh for the remote control.
3.About the tracking distance, most customers care about is reason why his or hers tracking distance was not long as discriped, well, this is normal, the GPS signal depend on the environment, and it will be only 20 metes if you track in short distance, our tracker connect to controller used the blutooth, and the location maybe not accurate because the tracker will take the location of your sellphone service location, you will find that the location was in another street far from you. And it will transmit to Lora connetction if the tracking distance over 30 or 50 metes, this tracking distance can be longer up to miles away.
4.About the not working issue, some people may feel it doesnot work or no connection if the GPS signal was cut down by Interference factors or shelter, please calm down and redresh the location or move to another place to check the App, you will find the signal come back.

    Not only is this life enhancing device visually sleek and silky, but it will save you hours of time each year. If you often find yourself in a hurry to go somewhere, but your best amigo is always out of site and rummaging somewhere through the bushes, then this tracker is for you. Additionally, you can finally enjoy your precious time outside because your phone always has a lock on your dog with or without cellular signal. Before I purchased this little gem, I leaned on my sense of intuition to track and locate my dog when he chased off a deer or a jack rabbit. Since I have a roamer as my best friend, my spidey senses werenā€™t often enough. In many instances, my dog and I have been separated in the woods and desert for hours at a time. This is NOT the best feeling because Iā€™m a dental student and I donā€™t have time for a good ole fashion track and chase scene.     This is the 3rd tracker I have tried. I am a retired professional Pilot, I know all about GPS. I have flown to 26 different countries using GPS. I live in the SW where it’s hard to find a three, so there is no excuse i shouldn’t be able see the GPS location of my pet. The first device I used for 2 years until the company stopped providing service. This was due to the cellar service they chose to use. Quite honestly I’m not sure if they didn’t pay their bill or the cellular company was to blame. Me, I out the cost of the Tracker. They did give me the balance of my year subscription of the POD3. The second I continue to use, it is the best of 3 but it’s weak. I can find my pet but it is not without work. This pet tracker PETFON sounded so amazing. I just knew iy would blow the others out of the water. NO, NO, But Hell NO!. I am so disappointed . It appears the company had deployed it into the market before they have throughly field tested it. There is start up documentation but no real operating instructions. Tracker location may or may not move on the tracking map. It is Not dependable. In testing before I trusted it on my pet I had my wife be the pet. The 1st outing the location icon never moved. Next day I tried again, I did have some close locations 50′. Today I had my wife hide it after dark as if the pet had escaped. The location on the map was 100 yards SW of where the tracker was. This is just NOT good enough for my pet.     After almost a full month of using this product paired with additional two trackers in varying conditions from heavy rain to snow to areas with no cell reception I have come to the conclusion this is a amazing gps for pets. What I like most is that these trackers and controllers do not need a cell signal to work, theyā€™ll even work with airplane mode on. Thereā€™s the option which I partially like in the settings that it can be set to track at 10, 30 or 60 second intervals. The time connection between the phone, controller and trackers is quick averaging less than 30 seconds. The charging box is another huge plus since the charging box has its own internal battery and can charge the controller and trackers without a usb outlet if needed. The distance on the app feature is sometimes not correct but the map on the app can clarify that issue when it arises. No gps is 100% exact on accurate anyways. The third feature I like in the app with the trackers is the ability to download offline maps. The maps in standard view have contour lines similar to a USGS map. The contour intervals are 10 meters apart which also helps determine the distance of the pet. Once a day I charge the trackers and controllers for about 2 hours each day and thatā€™s enough to get through 24 hours easily on the pets. I could go on and on but in the end itā€™s a amazing gps set up and comforting the pets have a way to be tracked.Read more

    Iā€™ve had this tracker for a few days and tried it in the woods and on the beach in NJ, with one of my dogs. It worked well and gave me peace of mind. The app is easy to use and location was always accurate. The battery lasted quite long as I did not have to face the need to charge during our outings. The design is nice and all looks quite sturdy. I really like the light option as it is very useful in the dark and the ā€œringtonesā€ have my dog wondering wth is going on and snap out of what she is doing like tracking (and not listening to me), though, most of time it was not strong enough for me to hear it in the distance. Iā€™m happy with the product as it does what I need it to do. I wish I could save the number of steps and distance history but that would just be a bonus.Read more

    APP only for Apple. Unless I missed something, could have saved time and shipping money by stating clearly that this app only works with Iphone. We have LG. So, I cannot state whether this is a good buy or not. Returned the item without testing.Read more

    I adopted a dog recently that escapes often. I purchased the Petfon tracking system to help me locate him quickly as it is not a safe environment for the dog to roam. We live in a rural desert area with predators and rattlesnakes. The product is much more than I thought it would be. I can track, locate and get my dog back very quickly. The flashing light and voice recording features are wonderful. I love reviewing the tracking GPS history, too.
