This product helped my pet so Much! She suffered with chronic ear problems….itching, quick build up. The liquid medicine to treat her ears, the vet gave, made her miserable and really angry at me when I had to use on her. Also she’s a Maltese and there is just no way to avoid having, the greasy like substance, get all over the hair around her ears. And it is very difficult to wash the stuff off. I have now used these on three different family dogs and these are the best ear cleaning purchase I have ever gotten! My moms two year old golden- was only one whose ears maybe shouldn’t have been cleaned because she could hear thunder storms better and I guess scared her! But my mom made her a thunder jacket and now she is fine! My brothers 12 year old Rhodesian ridgeback has never had ear problems but with age his ears began filling up with wax and he wasn’t used to getting his ears cleaned. These are soft and moist and gentle but still get out all of the wax so once a week when we clean his ears he happily obliges! My ten year old pharaoh hound/besnji/Shepard mix has delicate ears. Came in good time, well packaged, hygienically wrapped. I have two dogs, one who’s ears only need cleaning as maintenance every week or so. But my other has chronic ear infections and quick wax build up. He is regularly at the vets for this, for antibiotics and ear drops. The vets advice has just really been that this is a life long thing for him, and all I can do is continue to wash them daily and bring him to the vets when he needs to. But his ears are always a mess despite my efforts, and he is often uncomfortable with them and dreads wash time because of course his ears are sore, no matter how gentle I am. HOWEVER, after trying everything including gentle human products – I came across this. And can I just say, this is the best purchase I have ever made in my life because it has massively changed my dogs quality of life. What used to be twice daily full ear washes, ear drops and cream applying, taking an hour each time – has now turned into 2-3 wipes per ear, once a day and only taking a few minutes. His ears are instantly cleaned, it gets up all of the wax on his ear and the canal with ease, it is gentle and causes no stinging for him because he just lies there now not stressed. I’m so happy for him. I took him to my vets and she was oustanded because she knows everything we’ve tried including the vets medicated treatment, and nothing has worked like these wipes. My dog doesn’t get really bad ears, but I have found that a good clean twice a week keeps her from getting any problems. She prefers me using these to the fluid and they do a really good job. Yes, as previous reviewers have said, they are very wet, but this makes the job of cleaning much easier. I have a Labrador and the size of the wipes is absolutely fine for her ears. Firstly, these are so strongly scented that my dog freaked out as soon as I came near him with them and was visibly distressed when I brought the wipe close to his ear. Secondly, these wipes are far too small to clean anything larger than a medium sized dogs ears. I threw them in the bin and won’t be buying more.Read more
