Help your cat stay happy, healthy and hydrated with the Seaside Stainless Pet Fountain. Pets love running water and are drawn to it. Pet fountains entice pets to drink more water which keeps them healthy and hydrated. With this fountain, pets can drink the bubbling water from the tower, or from the bowl (which is awesome) because your pet needs 1 ounce of water per 1 pound they weigh every day. This fountain has 360-degree water access which lets your pet drink from any side they choose. The ultra-quiet design of this stainless-steel fountain causes the water to softly bubble over the tower (instead of a falling stream) which is great for even the shyest cats. The high-quality stainless-steel material is scratch resistant making it durable and safe for your best friend. To keep water fresh, we use dual-filtration technology to remove pet hair and debris. A carbon filter, foam filter and fountain pump work together so your pet will always have clean water to drink, and the constant water circulation helps to keep the water fresh. We’ve made this fountain easy to clean – place the fountain in the top rack of the dishwasher and hand wash the pump separately. Your pet deserves the best. Trust PetSafe to keep your pet healthy, safe and happy.

This water bowl replaced a Drinkwell 360 stainless steel bowl. The 360 was nice but became cumbersome and took too long to clean. Too many plastic parts. Ordered this last month and it is wonderful. Very easy to clean in no time at all. Not that many parts. My cats love it. Only one recommendation: do not use any of the filters that are sold with it. I bought a 10 pack of the filters with a tiny amount of charcoal inside. Filters turned yellow after about 3-4 days and water flow came to a trickle. There’s no way that these filters last anywhere near a month as advertised. This was with the foam pre-filter around the motor that’s supposed to catch cat hair, etc. This is my solution: I purchased a canister of granulated aquarium charcoal and this from Amazon-Aquarium Mesh Media Filter Bags – High Flow – with Drawstrings for Activated Carbon – Reusable Fish Tank Charcoal Filter Bag – Aquatic Bags for Fresh or Saltwater Tanks https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08D4T6CXF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_lG9uFbW7RHMKE The combination the mesh bags and charcoal worked perfectly and lasts at least a week before needing to clean. And the mesh bags are reusable. I don’t even use the pre-filter because, in my opinion, it’s not needed. Never seen anything that’s been caught by it. Overall, I’m giving this water fountain a 5 out of 5. I have 2 cats so it’s perfect for them. Highly recommended.Read more

FATAL DESIGN FLAW – pump requires constant replacement due to poor design. The pump is constantly met with a lot of resistance because it has to pump water through a plastic chamber with a filter inside. Due to this constant resistance, the pump fails frequently and needs replacing every 2-3 weeks on average. Also, the filters (both the brand name and the generic ones) cause a slime buildup in the bowl literally within hours. I have a small chihuahua who doesn’t slobber and doesn’t drink a lot, so I know the immediate slime buildup is not from her. I purchased a different pet fountain on Amazon that I like much better: https://amzn.to/39pQjGa. Please see my review for that product on the product page.Read more

*DEEP sigh* Let me start with this: This little fountain is quiet, SUPER-easy to clean, and my cats loved it. We have multiple cats, so water is replaced daily, the unit gets rinsed AT LEAST every other day, and washed out weekly. I have had to return 2 of these in the last several months, as the pump fails after several weeks, every time. If there was an option to just have support replace the pump, I would have. Unfortunately, I’ve had to replace the entire device. I’ve had the Drinkwell 360 for over 4 years, & we’ve replaced the pump on our own, ONCE, several years in. I really do not know what the difference is. It looks like the same pump, and the 360 is bigger. This was the main reason I chose this as a smaller fountain to add to our home; the historic reliability of the Drinkwell 360. I will always recommend the 360. I can’t really do the same for the Seaside.Read more

I bought this on August 21st, 2020 and I am writing this review on October 6th, 2020. The unit seems very nice and my cat likes drinking from it. However, in the short time I’ve had it (less than 2 months in operation) it is already developing rust spots on the fountain ‘cone’ section. The water at my house is not corrosive, and I usually put filtered water in the fountain (from a Britta filter pitcher), so the development of rust in a short period of time concerns me as it seems PetSafe used a very low grade of stainless steel to make this product. Rust in water IS NOT Pet Safe in any way!Read more

Interesting Fountain Danger! If I had a mineral type litter, I would love this fountain. The problem is that I have a natural, corn-based litter and when my cats come to the fountain with a dusting of the litter on their faces, it washes into the fountain and gets trapped in the parts. As soon as one day.. it begins to get bubbles in the water! I imagine the very dangerous mold from natural litter is not far behind. My filters would almost immediately be covered with dark slime (two or three days). I then tried no filters so I could rinse it out daily, but apparently the dust pieces get into the pump and the water still bubbles. The mold from corn litter is dangerous/deadly to cats if it starts growing and certainly the bubbles in the water are not a good sign. If you use a mineral type litter, I’m sure all is safe and I would then give this fountain a 5-star rating. Just be Careful!Read more

To begin with, my cats 3 total will not drink from this Water Fountain. Next after 2 days of continuously running the water is fogged up. Never in my life have I seen water turn bad so fast. I Will not recommend this unit to anyone and plan on sending this back for a refund.Read more

I cleaned it thoroughly, and set it up, which was easy enough as long as one paid attention to the directions. Then I put in FILTERED water, and it stayed clean initially, but within a day or two , the water developed this weird residue that seemed to be coming from within the machinery itself, and it wouldn’t go away. The cat initially seemed to be interested, but once the residue appeared, she stopped going near the device. Also, it’s not entirely clear whether the filtered water is separate from the other water, and the thing is bubbly enough on top that some cats might not like it. The design has potential, but all in all, it didn’t quite work. Maybe they need to tinker with it, since it’s a newer design.Read more

I really wanted to like this fountain… I liked that it was SS and more hygienic for my kitties… After only a few days of being on, I noticed bubbles in the water. I cleaned it and tried again… Just a few days and bubbles again… Not sure what is going on or why they show up after a few days but I just shut it off and stopped using it. BTW, I’ve bought many many cat fountains through the years but the only one that I really like is the Ownpet fountain. Made of plastic, but super quiet.Read more

Thinking about “trying” this product to see if your pet might like it and use it? Think again. For some unknown reason, even though there is no warning on the product page, you CANNOT RETURN this product, regardless of whether it shows up broken or doesn’t work. Imagine my surprise when I tried to return it and there is no option to do so …. I lost a lot of goodwill for Amazon and its customer service today.Read more

The media could not be loaded. It was very easy to set up and I was very excited for the cats to start using it. But three days after setting it up strange white bubbles started to appear on the top of the water and a strange slimy residue started to appear on the sides. I clean the bowl out and rinse the filter and the next day it happened again. I took out the filter for the pump and I’m going to see how that works but for the price I’m not too thrilled for this to be happening. UPDATE: it is now several months later and the slimy Residue is only getting worse. Everything is green after a day or two.Read more

The media could not be loaded. I switched to PetSafe Seaside Stainless Pet Water Fountain after the previous stainless pet fountain did not work out. My previous fountain emitted orange residue in the parts and claylike slim on the carbon filter. It was also difficult to obtain the correct carbon filter and sponge filter. With this new PetSafe Seaside fountain I am able to purchase the foam filter and carbon filter at a lower cost and in the amount that I need. I change and clean the fountain daily. A white/opaque ring forms on side of the fountain within 24 hours. I had hoped that the carbon filter would last the full 4 weeks but after 2 weeks a clear slim emits from the carbon filter. Stainless steel is safer than plaster. The foam and carbon filters last maximum two weeks for me. There appears to be a rusty ring underneath the hood. I hope this is not harmful. There is no return on this product.Read more
