Well the rope is good quality and overall it looks nice. But my second time using leash the carabiner just fell apart in my hands. Actually it flew all over the room cause there is a spring in there. The carabiner is of the quality you would see as kids prizes or something. Just not fit for a dog leash.Read more

*UPDATE* on 8/07/21 the company contacted me and stated if I changed or deleted my review for a positive on they would pay me $30. IGNORE ALL GOOD REVIEWS. They clearly just bribe people instead of fixing the product they know is defective. The Leash broke mid walk. My dog almost ran into the road due to this leashes failure, good thing he has an amazing recall. I do not recommend this leash to anyone. Save your money and find a different Leash to buy.Read more

I read a few reviews about the carabiner breaking, so I bought a couple of heavy duty carabiners just in case this one breaks. Only a few days in, but happy so far. Buying rope online is tricky, you never know how stiff the rope will be. I bought the 50’ and it’s very easily manageable, even with a speed machine on the other end. I was debating between a 30’ and 50’… SO glad I went with the 50’… more training options for sure and the rope is plenty strong enough for super strength of a crazy Malinois. I don’t use the handle much with the long lead training I’m doing right now, but it is comfortable. The rubber piece that covers the loop next to the carabiner slides off, but I’ll probably fix that minor issue with a little bit of epoxy. I also debated on color to use… the bright green I settled on is very contrasty for my eyes, and I’m thinking it blends in with grass for the dogs because he barely notices it being there.Read more

We’ve been using this product for over a week with our medium size Standard Poodle. This long leash is good for training or keeping your dog close by. The leash is made out of sturdy material but still soft & won’t give you rope burn. Comfortable handle is nice with lots of padding. The quality is nice for the price!Read more

I had only used the leash 1 time before the cap covering the raw end slipped off. The end is barely holding to the body of the leash. I have a large dog and though well behaved, you never know what might happen to cause a dog.to suddenly pull. I discontinued use over concern for my dogs safety.Read more

While I like the heaviness of the leash, the clip that connects to the dog was very difficult to open and immediately broke making it useless. Very disappointedRead more

We bought this leash to walk a 70-pound boxer who has chewed through two previous retractable “strap” type leashes. He’s doing well with it, learning to avoid tangles with bushes in the local woods where I walk him. I’m very satisfied.Read more

I generally avoid looking at the 1 star reviews, but it seems the 15ft leash carabiner has a consistent issue that needs to be addressed. I’ve had this leash for a couple weeks and up until now it has been great. However like other reviews, the carabiner broke and I was unfortunately on a walk downtown. My puppy is only 30lbs and managed to break this “secure” product when they are claiming this product can handle 100+ lbs dogs. I had to chase my dog for 4 blocks until I managed to grab him before something terrible happened. AVOID THIS PRODUCT IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET’s SAFETYRead more

I love this leash. My dog is 110 lbs and has some reactivity issues we are working through so we got him the 15 ft leash and use it on all our basic walks and the quality is excellent! I trust that if he reacts and starts lunging and pulling that the leash will hold up. We have had it for a few months, used twice daily most days and aside from being dirty, it is as good as new. I also find it is relatively lightweight especially for the durability. We have a back clip harness and he likes to roll around and has actually unclipped standard leashes, but with the locking mechanism on this one, that’s not an issue. The padded handle is a nice fit for smaller or average hands to slip it onto the wrist. Larger hands it is a bit more snug, but I find there is no chance it will be dropped when I’ve got it around my wrist. He has also been known to turn and try to use the leash to play tug, and even that hasn’t done damage to it. Out of all the leashes that we have, this one is definitely my favorite!Read more

DO NOT BUY THIS LEASH!!!! The manufacturer needs to change the clasp. It DOES NOT work. The LEASH itself is nice. Nice foam handle. Quality constructed leash. BUT THE CLASP IS CRAP. Within 15 minutes of my dog attached to the leash the clasp unhooked itself from my pups harness. The 30 ft leash was fully extended and my medium size 40 lb pup tugged on the leash a couple times and the clasp unhooked itself and my 1 yr old not trained off leash pup was heading down my street (in the City of Philadelphia mind you) free and startled/frightened by my frantic calls for her to return. The problem with the clasp is the sliding lock that covers the clip hook does not lock. It covers the clip but very easily slides so the tiniest wiggle of the clasp can disengage the lock. It doesn’t screw closed like a lot of these types of carabine hooks do so there is nothing preventing it from sliding. The manufacturer says it is a lockable hook but it does not lock. I want this to be know so no one else has their dog become unclipped from the leash and get lost or injured. The manufacturer needs to upgrade the locking clasp and make it truly locking by making it a screw closed slide.Read more

I like the rope, looks sturdy enough. But the carabiner broke after few uses, in the middle of a walk – far from home none the less. I replaced the carabiner, and it works fine again. 2 stars because I would expect the product to last longer as is.Read more
