Just got this in the mail today, shoulda looked at the reviews. It doesn’t stick! Nor is it swappable as the title suggests. I had to super glue it to my phone case, AND super glue it back into the place where it should be swappable because it just randomly popped off leaving me with a useless plastic piece attached to my phone. Absolutely terrible.Read more

Fake product not a real pop socket. Not swapable at all. Do not buy! The product is not the same. I have pop sockets on all my devices and all of my family uses them on all of their devices. Sometimes we get a new case or phone and just buy a generic black pop socket to swap the cover to. This one is sealed. You cannot swap a cover to it. And it also has not as good as a stick. I just wish we would have realized before sticking it on.Read more

I ordered this because popsockets do not make it possible to sit flush on my phone mount I have on my motorcycle so I’m always afraid it’ll fly off. So having this being able to “pop” off the majority of the bulk makes me feel safer when riding. Downside, it actually DOES NOT stick to your phone. It says in the description that it doesn’t stick to certain material but it actually does not stick to the phone itself. I had to cut the original adhesive out & put special double sided tape & NOW it sticks just fine. Unless you have strong double sided tape, I do not recommend buying.Read more

The new design is slimmer, feels significantly more sturdy and the plate detaches from the mount which is cool but the adhesive is absolute trash. My old ones lasted almost a year (and that’s with moving them to different devices too), this one lasted 3 weeks. The other improvements are null and void because it simply doesn’t stay on the phone.Read more

I’ve been using popsockets for a while on all of my devices. I reordered a black one for a new phone and it is obviously fake. It doesn’t look or feel like any of the popsockets I’ve owned in the past. It certainly is not “swappable” and the material looks/feels like thin cardboard (the disc feels like it’s cutting my fingers while holding my phone). Also doesn’t look anything like the display image – it has a white back and the front looks like it’s been colored black with a sharpie. DO NOT BUY.Read more

Talk about the best design/function combo. If you get this pop socket you might as well cancel your phone insurance if you got it because your phone won’t be going anywhere. This pop socket will give you the confidence you need to take that risky selfie at Niagra falls without the slightest bit of doubt of dropping your phone. If you won’t to improve your life ten fold I recommend this product.Read more

I don’t normally write reviews but after skimming the reviews when deciding there are quite a large number of reviews stating that this pop socket is not authentic or has issues. I decided to order despite these with the intent on returning the product if it was “falsely listed” but it was not. I thought it might be helpful for others to hear from another recent purchase. I have been using pop sockets for a number of years and required a new one recently. I can confirm that that what was shipped to me was indeed an authentic pop socket and brand new. I had no problems with adhesion as some have mentioned. It was brand new and adhered to by phone perfectly and securely. Other reviews mention that the pop socket falls off. This is not the case – the pop socket sold is actually Pop Socket’s newer model called “Pop Grips & Pop Tops” where the pop socket can be removed from the mount that is adhered to your phone. This allows for wireless charging and changing the pop top for a different design without removing the adhesion. The pop top is only able to be removed when in the closed position and twisted in a very specific way. I think this what is happening to those complaining that the pop socket comes off in other reviews. I hope this review is helpful to those who might be looking through reviews to decide if this is an authentic product.Read more

I bought an original popsocket a few years ago, before these silly swap the design things, and it was brilliant could not fault, the other day the rubber ripped and came off so I ordered this new one. Everyday wear for 2+ years wasn’t bad. AWFUL. It does NOT stick to ANYTHING. I’ve tried a range of different phone cases, the phone it’s self, random objects around the house. It holds for a few seconds and then falls to the floor. Very disappointing as the last one was crazy strong, I had to get a screwdriver to pry it off when it came to replacing. But not this one I’m resorting to super glue and if that doesn’t work guess I’ll try a knock off brand?Read more

Bought this for my new iPhone XR. I did have an iPhone 5s which was really easy to hold, however the XR sets cramp off in my fingers. Have seen celebrities use these so thought I’d found the answer …… it fell off after half an hour of very light use ! So disappointed, and it looks like I might have to purchase a pack of 6 3M replacement stickers at a cost of £6.99. Thinking of returning the whole thing… or run the risk of dropping the phone if PopSocket fails again
