Got this item in the late summer I only paid 250. First snow of the year today fired up and threw the snow up to the roof. Turn a two hour job into a 30 minute job. I hope it lasts.Read more

I thought to save some money, replacing a Toro which has lasted for 25 years. Dumb. What is advertised as american made with glowing reviews, just isn’t. First: the great reviews are likely bogus and paid for because if you dig deeper, you see mostly 1’s and 2’s and lots of terrible experiences. Second, their service is terrible–nonexistent. I called and waited on hold for over 30 minutes. Sent e mails and texts, unanswered. Tried to reach corporate, the web page doesn’t work. Tried to submit a request for help and the submit button didn’t work, circling back to order parts by computer. Out of the box, two rubber plugs fell out with no directions nor any idea where to put them. The back of this unit is wide open, with the choke box pushed hard against the plastic at the back–a subzero crack waiting to happen. Only after Amazon got directly involved did I get a reply from Amerisun. Bad grammar and poor English told me all I needed to know. You can’t reach this warehouse operation. Amazon oversaw the return of my money, indeed, if they hadn’t I do not know what would have happened. Thank you Amazon representatives!! All I can say is, learn from my dumbness. I have since ordered a Toro and am real happy with it. PowerSmart, is not a smart move.Read more

For the price, this snow thrower is a good homeowner product for someone who doesn’t get a lot of snow. Even with the skid shoes in the full down position, it will still pick up gravel from my driveway, to my dismay, causing dents and heavy scratches to the blower housing. I recommend not using this snow thrower on graveled areas even though it’s rated to do so. Also, the lack of not being able to regulate the engine rpms, via a throttle control, kinda sucks, IMO. I also had some of the hand started hardware get lost in shipping. Lastly, with some TLC, this snow thrower should last many winter seasons, and tire chains should make this snow thrower a little more efficient in heavier snow.Read more

Learned a lesson ordering a large item from Amazon. Don’t do it. They need to have private carriers deliver and somehow my address was written down wrong, took two attempts to have the blower delivered, eventually arrived. Assembly not terrible, but you need to be flexible and do some contorting. Not easy for a 60 yr old. The blower has only been used once, worked fine through 8″ of wet snow.Read more

This is a toy, it cannot handle wet snow and struggles with 6” of light fluffy snow. It is not self propelled nor does the auger assist, you have to push it. Bottom line, spend a little more money and get a real snowblower.Read more

Several pieces of hardware were missing. This is NOT an easy to use piece of equipment. VERY hard to push. We will be requesting a refund and return it if we can. NOT worth the money.Read more

It was delivered one day before storm. It was easy to put together. Started on second pull. It does a great job. I did two driveways that day, just pushed through everything. I used it when we got 12 inches and then it rained on top of that and for what this snow blower did through that heavy snow. I won’t worry about any snow storm again. For the price I paid I feel like I ripped the company off. I would recommend this machine for anybody looking to do driveways, and walkways.Read more

I bought the Powersmart single stage 21 inch snow thrower and it arrived really quick. However, after 10 min it broke. One screw for the paddles broke making it unusable. Now have to find a replacement screw and fix it. I’m spending more time fixing it then anything else and it is new. I was using it on fresh snow. I do not recommend this product.Read more
