At this price, I use once and toss. I use for quality marine varnish. Much better than foam. I was using more expensive brushes and cleaning. Fine if you are indoors in a workshop. Otherwise time is spent to spin, wash, and dry the expensive brushes, and if not meticulous and not using every day, they get dry. Then there is wasted solvent to clean brushes. So I get 24 brushes for the price of one fancy brush. Saves time. But, be sure to wet brush first and look for loose hairs – good to have some tweezers to pick out loose hairs and watch what you are varnishing and use the tweezers quickly if you lose a hair. Anyway, this is a money and time saver. Toss and useRead more

great little brushes. bought 6 new cabinets that needed to be stained and clear coated in december. had to stain in small area. easier to just stain and throw out when done than to have to clean up every time.Read more

I only use these once, then toss them. Not great for fin work, but for just putting on stain or shellac they are fine and so inexpensive I just toss themRead more

I’ve been using for fiberglass resin work well bristles stay in place so no extra mess. Used once for regular latex paint seem to work as good as cheap brushes at most box stores.. Great valueRead more

Don’t expect any type of quality work out of these. I buy Chip brushes all the time and I am able to do most simple projects with them, Not these. Real garbage. Only good for staining wood.Read more

Chip brushes typically are cheaply made, but these are more cheaply made than most. These brushes lose fibers at a high rate, and the fibers are shorter than average to begin with. These brushes are useful for applying fiberglass resin, but not for anything else. For removing sawdust from woodworking projects, get something else.Read more
