Works great! I have it setup on external power (had one laying around). Fits both controllers well. Not a ‘drop’ and go connection, but I like it because I KNOW it’s plugged when I get it on (which isn’t hard at all!!). Similar to my PS3 controller charger been using for years! Low light on the front which is great! Only had for a few days BUT seems like it should last as long as my ps3 charger (which I am still using!)……update May 2020…. Noticed front spot wasn’t charging….took a minute…but just un-plugged and re-plugged and started to work again! Don’t give up on this Gem! No I don’t work for them and I paid for it myself. This is a pretty decent product for the price from YCC team. The package include the manual, the usb cable, the thumbstick cover that they giving away for now and the charger itself. To be honest, they’re pretty good! Not sure if they will charge faster with usb 3.0 but im feeling it. i just plug it to my fast samsung charger 3.0 and not to the ps4. After 2 weeks of using, I’m impressed, the charger feels pretty solid, fast on charging and looks good! Ha! and the last thing is they even give out thumbstick cover too. I already have one from KontrolFreak but who cares, free stuff is free!Read more

Had these for many months now and haven’t had a single problem. On the contrary, these were so cheap, the quality is so good, and they are really easy to use. I never have dead controllers any more. This is an appropriately sized item. It was delivered in a day. I like it because it charges quickly and I can keep the controllers near the seating and not connected to the console. It is easy to use with one flaw. There are charging indicators on the front of the unit. One for the front and one for the back position. They are red when charging and green when complete. The issue is the front LED indicator is linked to the rear charging position. The back is linked to the front. Not a showstopper but confusing as hell at first. I’ve included two pictures. The first one shows two controllers and both lights lit. I removed the front controller and in the second picture you can see the back LED is illuminated instead of the front one. A small improvement and I’d give it 5 stars.Read more

The most important thing is that it works. It charges your controllers and does what it advertises: doesn’t overheat the batteries, firm connection, accurate display, and fast charging. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 is because of some small gripes, feel free to skip this part of the review if you don’t want to read nitpicking: It feels incredibly cheap. It feels like exactly what it is: a plastic shell with a circuit board. I’d recommend adding some kind of weight to it because it’s meant to charge 2 controllers but weighs half as much as one controller. That means you have to hold it down tightly and yank or finagle the controller off of it which is going to add to the general wear and tear. I know the product itself is quite cheap and affordable so this might not be cost-effective or raise the price. Another solution would be to alter the plastic casing on the bottom to provide a mounting slot so people could mount it onto something to keep it firmly in place. The other issue is that the display is reversed: you have 2 LED controller icons, one on top of the other vertically. Intuitively, this means the top icon represents the slot furthest to the back while the bottom icon would represent the slot furthest to the front. This is reversed on the product. The bottom icon represents the slot on the back and vice-versa. It’s not intuitive and triggers some latent OCD inside of me. That being said, the display is nice-looking and accurate.Read more

This is a great little product, the controllers are easy to slot in, it’s compact and I think it looks good too. The only weird thing is that the two charging icons appear to be the other way round, so in my picture, the top icon that shows red for charging is actually for the controller nearest to you.
