This company full of crooks state on their description the following: Tested and Certified by the NSF, WQA, and IAPMO to guarantee the removal of all major contaminates. These filters were as described, packaged well and look similar to the filter that came on my Whirlpool refrigerator. I replaced the original with one of these and all seemed well. Within a week, I was prompted to replace the filter again. I did. Shortly after, my ice maker stopped producing ice. I troubleshot everything I could and finally replaced the Pureline “compatible” filter with the exact brand filter that was originally in the refrigerator. Immediately my ice maker began to work again. So, long story short, these filters are not as compatible as promised. Go with the pricey name brand.Read more

The only reason I gave it a star is because you have to in order to leave your review. I am very unhappy with this purchase. I tried to save money by purchasing these. The water using the Pure Line refrigerator water filters has a horrible taste as if they don’t work. Don’t purchase these! I am going back to Everydrop by Whirlpool. We just used one of these filters for the first time. My wife immediately noted a bad taste (similar to our non-filtered water as she does not use ice). I noticed once the older ice made from water filtered by our prior filter. Unfortunately, I ordered these too soon and I’m stuck with TRASH.Read more

Filters. First, the cost factor of these filters are possibly the first thing that comes to mind and pocketbook. These filters are very reasonable priced. I my original filter out of the unit and put one of your filters in it’s place. The install was easy, the original came out and the replacement went in perfectly. Filter fit ok, after a redundant X-Ring was removed. Paid more for this product as there was a strong pronouncement that this was from an American company, and that their product was better than “cheap Chinese” ones. This product was made in China, so maybe this is an “expensive Chinese one”. Poor marketing.
