I have 5 cats. Ranging in age from 2-10 years. They have gotten canned food for breakfast all their lives. They have always been very patient in having their share doled out, even with other Friskies varieties, with my picky eater patiently waiting at the last bowl to decide if he wants to eat whatever flavor I’d had picked for the day. NOT ANY MORE!!! For the past 13 mornings I have been mobbed just setting their bowls out. Once I pop the can they are grabbing for it. Something they have never done. It’s all I can do to get it dished out. And my picky eater that has always waited till the end. That’s apparently a thing of the past. Now he grabs the first bowl and gobbles his food down. He’s never done that before and I have never heard such loud smacking sounds, not just out of him but all of them. I don’t know what kind of kitty crack they put in this but it’s a HUGE hit in my house. It’s the only flavor I will buy from here on out because if they love it as much as this I don’t dare feed them anything else. I will probably fear for my life if the day ever comes that I have to get something else, since they know where I sleep. LOL Thank you Purina for a flavor selection all my furkids love!!!Read more

My cats adore these flavors, so I reluctantly keep buying and Purina never hesitates to give me stacks of dented cans. I “lucked out” and “only” got 5 dented cans in the pack of 24 this time, normally it’s MORE, but that’s still 20% of them damaged. What’s also lame, is not only does Purina offer a 10% off coupon which; 1.) Stupid to have to buy more of their damaged products where that 10% doesn’t amount to anything, 2.) But I still have the previous cans that are wasted with my wasted money. And even with me accepting the coupon, they mail it to you and–no surprise! The coupons mysteriously and totallyyyyy gets lost in the mail. Funny how I never lose things in the mail and only this fabled Purina coupon. They need to get their crap together. I had other products in this shipment that weren’t damaged, as well as the outside of the shipping box was not damaged, so they can’t blame shipping for their chronic dented can problem.Read more

The media could not be loaded. LOL, if a picture is worth a thousand words, 2 pics & short video should tell all you need to know about Slurprises, doing it better than anything I could write!! In the 18yrs I’ve had Fluff, I’ve NEVER seen him so taken with his food he sits in front of it and rubs on all the cans he can reach! I wish I’d thought to video him telling me “I WANT THIS NOW!”, as for a 19yr old cat who doesn’t even weigh 5 lbs, he roared his meows, making sure I heard him! As he liked the previous 32 pk of Friskies I bought, I’d planned to buy it again, UNTIL I saw it had increased $7 in 5wks! Fluff’s been a far better companion than most/I’ll ever be, earning the right to enjoy the time he has left, life & food to the extent possible (within my budget of course)! As I’ve never heard so much slurpinng, lip smacking, I’ll continue to buy Slurprises, as Fluff obviously gives it 5*!!Read more

Noticed box that contained this cat food and the Renuzit 12 pack apple and cinnamon was soggy on bottom when I brought it in from porch. I noticed a TERRIBLE odor emanating from the box. The box of cat food and the box of Renuzit were saturated with this terrible odor. I put on plastic gloves and began investigating the cause of the odor. The cans of cat food were smashed and many were open. It appeared as though a big object fell on the box of cat food, causing the food to spill all over. As you can see in the photo, there was mold covering the cans of food.Read more

We usually order the variety case which has tuna, chicken, turkey and salmon/shrimp. It was not available immediately. The TURKEY is the least favorite of the cats. For some reason, the turkey variety tends to be the worst quality. The stay cats often will NOT EAT IT! Many of the turkey variety smells and looks like it is very old and smells like it is nearly putrid and going bad. Also, shipping has resulted in several cans damaged or leaking! Stay away from the turkey. We have 4 cats and a stray that will not eat it half the time. The variety is much better….but, again, the turkey is bad about half the time!Read more

Over the last year I have been pleased with this product. It has has only an occasion bent can. Two orders back, the order I recieved had 7 bent cans, four of whick ppped open. It was a totoal mess to clean the gravy covered unopend cans and toss the opened ones. The last order was a bit strange n that the outer box was perfectly intact, yet six of the cans were bent. That makes me wonder that when they were packed in the box they were already bent. Will give it a shot and order one more time, as shipping has been good over past two years.Read more

I was hopeful that this new flavor would be something to buy frequently,, however after feeding my cats this product for a few days, they all started getting very sick, I don’t mean “hairball” sick, three of them got diarrhea and vomiting. Will need to return, because donating to a shelter may cause more harm than good. So sad.Read more

Several weeks went by and constantly received messages that item was stuck in customs. This is a USA product and shouldn’t be stuck in customs. Ordered from other retailers at same time since everyone has been out of everything. Received in less than a week. Finally received this a few days after cancelling the order. The box and cans were destroyed and taped together. I would never feed that to my pet baby. The cans on the inside look old and leaky. It’s awful! I will not order from here again!Read more
