This is the best product I have purchased in a very long time. I have a saltwater pool and the water gets very warm in the summer. This sail covers the entire pool, provides great shade and the water is about 15 degrees cooler. I decided to install it with one end being higher than the other and at a slant downward along the wind side. This provide me with great shade and the rain and wind are not a factor so far. I used 16 foot 4 X 4 and added extra 2 X 4 long ways for extra support and to counter the bending. I also set the 4 X 4 in the ground with approximately 160 pounds of cement for each pole. I also used 2/16 shielded cable instead of rope provided to offer more strength and eliminate and sagging. Update, to make it easier to remove and install I have added trailer winches as seen in last few picturesRead more

The media could not be loaded. This is an excellent quality pool sail. It’s not for the faint of heart though it takes a lot of work to get it up and in the right position over your pool. Originally we used steel poles that we put up last year for a cheaper cover. This sail is definitely much heavier and catches the wind- we noticed right away that it was bending the polls when stretched tight. My husband installed four by fours into the concrete and replaced the rope and anchors with steel cable and higher quality anchors. It is now up and working amazing. It is not waterproof- the water runs right through it which is great because it doesn’t pull up or weigh it down. The company says that the center will shrink with heat and sun so we don’t have to wait on that part. Right now the center is a little slack but we have gotten it up high enough that it works. I bought a 26 x 20 and it is covering a 32 x 22 area almost completelyRead more

We put these over our RV to help our AC in the summertime from running non-stop. It works great! We put them up with 4″ square poles and it’s great. We have some pretty harsh winds here in Arizona. Our neighbor saw us putting them up and just knew that with the wind storm we were expecting he would see it flopping the next morning. He came over and told up that we did a great job because it was still perfectly attached. It’s been up for about six months now and has survived through 50-70 mph winds.Read more

For me, the canopy is a seasonal solution to the spring and summer heat. It was to provide relief and more usable space without all the direct sunlight and heat. My perspective is that the material is good, but the canopy sags more in the middle than I’d like. I don’t think the picture is an accurate representation of the of what’s possible (stretching it out tight). Right now I have the canopy tensioned tight; to the point, I think if it gets much tighter something is going give (tear or break). I will concede this is a really large canopy, so mounting the canopy with 6×6 posts is what I would say is minimum specifications; I would recommend 8×8 posts, and if this is a ‘doit yer self’ project, hire a company to come out and dig the post holes for you. And pre-measuring and planning is ‘absolutely essential’; you need to plan, plan and plan again. But overall, the canopy is going to serve its purpose, just not to my vision.Read more

Strength of the fabric is great, looks fantastic set up. do yourself a favor and buy both stronger hardware and a cable puller to set it up properly. otherwise a large sail of this size can do a lot of damage to insecure structures When the wind blows.Read more

Purchased this sun sail at a discount as open box. It was in perfect condition. Installed in our screened in cage in SW Florida. The hardware and rope included are a throw away. Nothing but frustration there. The sail needs to be stretched tightly so it does not flap in wind causing stress on the supports. I installed stainless 3/8″ eyelets and purchased stainless steel ratchet straps. From Amazon. Pricey but made tensioning simple. Getting a bit of sag in the middle especially after a big rain but that is probably expected with a sail of this size. Water will pass freely through the fabric but does pool in the center and stretch it a bit.. Overall this is an awesome addition to our pool area. We can enjoy the pool area in mid summer without coating ourselves in sunscreen and it is keeping the pool at a refreshing temperature. Not sure how many summers this sail will hold up in the FL sun. When it is done we will look for another for sure.Read more

We purchased the 26′ x 20′ sunshade to shade the Texas sun for our in-ground pool. The material was sturdy and vibrant, easy to assemble. We used both wood and metal poles to anchor, it took about three hours to setup all together. You’ll definitely need to concrete the poles in the ground, especially if you live somewhere windy like Texas. The next day after assembling we had a thunderstorm and the sun shade handled it pretty well. No issues thus far! We’ve had for approx four months. The shade keeps the sun off our pool during the day and we can tell a big difference in our pool temperature! We absolutely recommend this product and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again!Read more
