I recently got the rona and with that, I took a lot of zinc. Little did I know, Zinc can cause the stimulation of too much testosterone and cause insane clusters of hormonal acne. I have NEVER seen my skin this bad in my life. I usually use the small circle HooHan patches but I literally was using a whole sheet on my face. I looked for bigger ones and I am not mad at all! It sticks really well and protects your skin from further bacterial infections. I slept with them on and let my skin breathe in the morning. Another great method is wearing them under your mask. Your mouth has more bacteria than a toilet (fun fact) and so constantly having that on your face?? Yeah, that’s not gonna do your acne any favors. You can cut the strips to make them smaller if need be. The photos above are about 5 days apart. With this breakout, I didn’t pop or pick because of how sensitive my skin is. Sure, it may have gotten better faster but I wanted to make sure it’s done in a healthier and safer way. These acne patches saved the day!! **disclaimer: they grip WELL. I saw the product on tiktok and decided to try it for myself and I was sorely disappointed. The positives are that it stays on the face so you don’t have to worry about it peeling off for hours. Unfortunately, this product doesn’t even work and won’t clear any spots at all and your skin will look the same after a repeated use of this. I liked that this covers a large area in case you have frequent maskne these days. I’ve been having breakouts under my chin area and it’s refreshing to see the next morning all the extra liquids that came out. These really work! I’ve had a problem area with multiple pimples between my hairline and one of my eyebrows for weeks. I used my other Rael products and then put this patch on overnight. I am honestly a bit stunned with the results. The smaller pimples are all but gone and the larger ones are very much reduced in size and redness. I’ve used it on an area on my chin with two huge puss filled pimples. I’ve washed my face, it stuck overnight on them, and in the morning still there and may or may not have puss. So def does not heal them overnight. The clear strip does become cloudy, but I’m guessing that’s just the oils in the pores being drawn out, not sure if it helps the healing process. Hopefully these things will go away soon. So, the product worked well as far as sticking overnight and drawing out impurities, but my pimples are still here and not so much reduced.Read more

These work great! I’ve always used the smaller round patches but recently I’ve developed some serious acne thanks to masks the last couple of weeks. Normally I get one a month or so…I’m going on vacation in 2 weeks and trying to get this cleared up asap!!! The patch sucked out so much gunk in just a few hours after I had applied them. These patches have a little stretch to them and are fairly transparent, enough that if you had one across your nose at first glance no one would notice. And they work. Wow do they work. I’m almost frightened at the amount of gunk that came off when I left a patch on my nose for five hours. The clearing out effect seems to last as well and several days later, my nose looks very clear.Read more

Okay, I don’t want jinx myself… but oh my god I think my hunt is over! These are amazing. From the moment I put them on I was impressed. The size, the feel, the transparency when on oh my god I could go on for days about these things! These are amazing. I was highly skeptical. I have battled with Acne my whole life and have tried everything including prescription lotions. Now with Covid and having to wear masks I have terrible acne again. I stumbled across these patches and tried them for the first time and wow!! They actually work!!! I don’t know if it’s just me, but these literally did NOTHING for me and I have issues with cystic hormonal acne that flairs up really badly at times so I’ve used multiple brands of these celluloid stickers all the time with no issues. For reference when I’ve used these I’ve had bad pimples (so they definitely should have done something), cleansed & exfoliated the area, used a warm cloth to open the pores before applying at night. This procedure normally works no problem but each time I’ve tried these which has been about 5-6 times now and it has not pulled anything out by the morning. I also recently bought another brand (BAGLAK) on Amazon and they were a bigger quantity for much cheaper than the Nexcare ones I used to get and they work just as well and cover more area. The only thing I will say I liked is that they adhere well, but that’s it. I would not order again and I am surprised it has so many good reviews.Read more

Great product! A little pricy since you only get 10 in a box, and usually need several days of patches to help the acne in the larger area. The Smaller (circular) patches by Rael are very sheer, but since these are so big, they are noticeable. Great for wearing at night (or under a mask)… only good thing about Covid, is the masks hide most acne breakouts. I’ve been really impressed with Rael products vs. Other similar products on the market. Highly recommend!Read more
