This claims it can reinstall any version of windows but it cannot do that. It specifically states on the note received in the packaging that “This disk will NOT restore your windows to factory default settings … Not a Disk to reinstall Windows (Our Amazon LIstings clearly say that).” However, the Amazon listing doesn’t state that it isn’t a full version of windows at all and it actually says that it can reinstall Windows. I highly recommend staying away from this product. To the seller: I understand your note said to please contact you before leaving negative feedback. However, I find it unforgivable to mislead consumers to this degree, and quite frankly I don’t care whether the feedback hurts a business that leeches off others.Read more

Not sure what it was supposed to do, but it’s been stuck in this screen for two days. I can’t even get it to boot up so that I can try recovery/format/backup. And I also found out that it DOES NOT HAVE WINDOWS 7 to reinstall or recover with your machine’s Microsoft product code. So I’m still gonna have to figure out a way to install an operating system if I can ever get it to boot up.Read more

Purchased this CD to fix my laptop which wouldn’t boot to Windows 7. The CD came with a website with instructions. Instructions looked fine but the CD never worked to get to the 2nd step. All over the packing and the instructions website the seller asks not to provide negative feedback or return to amazon. Email them and they’ll provide supports. I’ve sent emails every day for over a week now and haven’t gotten any response. I work in the tech industry and this is a horrible product with horrible support.Read more

After I ordered this I had mixed feelings because I was reading some bad reviews..But let me tell you, this it does exactly what it’s supposed to do no it does not re install windows..what it does do is it fixes all your internal errors that your computer is having due to mixed up/missing files it made my girlfriend’s computer which was completely bogged down and took 20 minutes to load a page run like it’s brand new again… and i received it in 2 days!! Great product – I had the choice of Windows 7 editions. I had a license for Windows 7 Professional. I selected the correct version for my license and the installation went great. Well worth the money if you have a Windows 7 license and you need the install media, this is the install DVD for you and a bargain!Read more

Trying to keep it real, I have to say I didn’t know whether I would find this helpful or not. It turned out to be EXTREMELY useful because sometimes PCs do not come with an install disk, but they come with a Product Key Code. When that happens, there is no way to reinstall your OS (Operating System) when a crash or freeze happens (and they DO happen). This product allows you to reinstall ANY Windows 7 OS without ANY problem(s). What a life saver! NOTE: Because I didn’t have/need the Touch Screen element, I did not rate it above.Read more
