Came on time and was excited to try. I got it plugged in no issues worked but the left mouse button sticks and makes a squeaking noise every time you press it. Unfortunately I had to refund. UPDATED After contacting Costomer support I was quickly responded to and a brand new Mouse was shipped out to me at no cost. New mouse is everything I wanted. Great feel, smooth gliding and all functions supersede my expectations. Thanks again Red Dragon!Read more

When I bought this I was specifically looking for a multi-button programmable mouse useable (and programmable) on a Mac. The sales copy seemed to indicate that this mouse fit the bill. When it arrived however, its packaging made no mention of being Mac-compatible; it only mentioned Windows. I can find no way to program it for my Mac. I’ve been using it nonetheless as I really needed a mouse, but it, intermittently & inexplicably, only moves up and down when I boot to the Windows emulator (Bootcamp) on my Mac. So it’s useless there then. Plus, periodically & inexplicably, will sometimes simply not show a cursor on the Mac side. It’s not what I wanted. Perhaps I read the advertising copy wrongly, but I was being careful and had rejected many other mice because they made it clear they would not serve my purpose on my Mac. So I’m inclined to blame errant descriptive copy rather than my interpretation.Read more

Good budget gaming mouse. The mouse itself has some decent weight to it compared to other advertised gaming mouses for the similar price. The mouse does what it’s suppose to and it’s material is not even bad. The 2 programmable buttons on its left side do feel very cheap but the whole mouse itself is very sturdy. The lightning modes is a bonus well personally because I like the rainbow effect on it. Overall good mouse if your on a budget.Read more

It goes clickity click and clackity clack like a boss. I can shoot em faster than ever and my wrist dies not hurt so much. I just wish it would make me a cup of coffee to so I did not have to get up.Read more

I’ve been using a Red Dragon Mammoth since 2015, and figured it was time for a new mouse. I saw that the M612 was one of their newest mice, and fairly cheap at that. So far, it feels smooth to use as I transition from wrist to arm aiming (work in progress). The software works great, and the mouse itself looks great. The cord is a bit stiff like most braided ones, but will get more flexible through use. It’s a keeper for me!Read more

The only thing that I think should be better thought out is the buttons on top. I seem to keep pressing on the color-changing setting when I game, but it might be because this is my first RGB mouse.Read more

I’m a gamer, I play demanding games like Fortnite and Rocket League. This mouse feels good on the hand, and the button clicks are satisfying. This mouse actually made me better at the game than the mouse i used to have. The RGB is awesome, you can change some properties of it in the software you can download in their website. It’s basic but it does the job done. When applying the setting on the mouse, the light will ficker and the mouse wont eork for a second, then it goes back to normal. In overall, this mouse is a bang for the buck!Read more

I first had a red dragon mouse for 4 years and it finally quit on me. I bought this one to replace it with. I use autocad and design programs all day. It fits nicely in my hand and is very accurate without any lag on the screen. Very comfortable to hold all day.Read more

Another brand that thinks a heavier mouse will probably feel higher quality if heavier.. (just like old A4Tech X7 Oscar mice, this mouse has a dead weight washer screwed inside it’s case.. just to make it heavier – even worse, making the back heavier alone.. at least most A4Tech mice from yesteryear had this dead weight ballast centered mostly the top center of the case, thus not throwing off the weight balance) The good thing is that this ballast washer can be removed – Not without opening the mouse to get to it though.. and good luck finding new replacement skates for this mouse. Optical Sensor is a PAW3104DB-TXDT for which I could not find a quick datasheet The scroll encoder is an unknown to me “F-SWITCH” (11mm) and gives the scroll wheel light steps and little noise. The scroll wheel click is also decent and not too heavy (many mice tend to get this very wrong.. even in highest end mice for whatever reason.. ) Main Clicks are also light and crisp, as are the side “Back”/”Forward” buttons (4/5) with no pre or post travel. RGB lighting is also decent enough, but the profiles independent customization is lacking.. Every profile has its own independent color when switching to it, but after a second the lighting defaults to one global preset that can be cicled by the assigned “lighting mode” button on the “back” of the mouse. The same goes for the DPI steps indication – the RGB color changes for a second to indicate the DPI step (the same 5 colors are assigned to the 5 DPI steps as are assigned to the 5 mouse memory profiles) after which the lighting reverts back to the global set mode, thus there is no telling by simply looking at the mouse which profile are you currently on, or at which DPI step.. In my opinion the lighting on this mouse is pointless and just for the “lights show” (unless you change the profile or DPI step, you can’t know your current status at a glance.. ) The software looks like yet another reskinned clone of other cheap mouse brands software and it has bugs and kinks.. This is yet another mouse that won’t even allow you to bind left/right modifier keys independently (right Alt / left Alt for ex.) – actually, it won’t even let you bind the right Alt key.. it will let you bind the left Alt, but when you’re pressing it, it will register as the right Alt key.. and binding the right Alt key will not register anything at all when pressed.. It will allow you to create macros though and the mouse itself has it’s own internal memory on which even the macros are stored – sad part is that as with every other mouse nowadays, the macros are limited in functionality and do not have the option of using operators and button states to create scripts with (like the old A4Teck X7 Oscar mice were.. ) Build quality is decent enough, but even so, the weight is too much for me and that is because of the heavy light diffuser, which is basically a whole lot of plastic balast, just like the metal washer that should have no place in any mouse.. (at least the A4Tech mice were very light when that metal balast was removed) Overall a good mouse for the price, but nothing special. The shape is comfortable for medium to larger hands and of course that is depending on the grip style. I’d say medium sized hands would even palm this mouse just fine, while large/r hands would claw/hybrid/fingertip grip it and even with more comfort if the internal dead weight metal washer is removed.. I’ll rate this a 3/5 for the many features that it has at the price, however, it does have too many limitations to give it any more than that.Read more

I ended up with 3 stars because I was unable to use it, hence I just don’t know how good the mouse it. I was petrified by the fact that the mouse won’t work on my aluminum mouse pad! My good old CM mouse died a few weeks ago, and I had to use another mouse as a substitute for a while. Both mice worked flawlessly on the aluminum mouse pad I own. But this Redragon… amazed me by the fact that the pointer was sitting still on the screen as if it was glued to it! Absolutely no reaction to mouse movements! A sheet of paper, my own knee, an envelope and all kind of stuff on my desktop worked just fine when I put the mouse on it, and it worked as intended, but I want to use The Mousepad, not anything else. Have to return the mouse unfortunately.Read more
