The first stage high capacity polypropylene 20” X 4.5” sediment filter – Extracts suspended materials such as sediment, rust, insects, and other particles down to 5 microns. This cartridge also extends life of other, more expensive cartridges and prevents damage
Material and components comply with NSF/ANSI Standard 42, acid washed, high performance Organic coconut shell activated 20” X 4.5 carbon Block Filters at Second & Third Stages absorb heavy chlorine byproducts such as chloramines, THM, and TCE.
The double carbon briquettes filter out organic matter from water without release of carbon fines. Also this carbon block removes volatile organic compounds (VOCs), insecticides, pesticides and industrial solvents.
Both filters have a capacity of 100,000 gallon of water to supply one full year of clean water for a family of four.
