    Most of these replacement drain pumps are not OE parts; despite the claims, they are import generics that “fit” (sort of) a variety of clothes/dish washers. I was surprised when I received this part and it was the actual Plaset 62735 (Samsung DC31-00054A) part that was original in my 11 year old Samsung front-load clothes washer. At $30 for the true OE part, this was a steal considering many less-than-reputable appliance parts vendors (like Sears Parts Direct), sell knock-offs for $120–found out the hard way.Read more

    I seem to replace these about every 2 years. Ok my machine gets heavy use and i don’t clean the filter enough. But after you have done this once it only takes minutes to do it again. I recommend taking the bolts out and removing the entire pump. It just makes it easier than removing the screws and splitting the case.Read more

    It all started with the nd code on my Samsung washing machine. I found a couple videos online that described how to remove the cover to see if there were plugged drains (mine were all clear!). I could hear that the pump was being actuated but the tub would not drain so I took a chance and ordered this part. Again, easy to follow some online videos for the installation of the pump. I put it back together and it works perfectly. If you are remotely handy I think you could easily replace this part and save a lot of money over a service call.Read more

    Fix your Samsung washing machine for $30?! Yes, that’s all it took to return to clean clothing bliss. Well, that and some wrangling of musty drain hoses, one stubborn hose clamp, and about a dozen screws to remove and replace. Very worth the price and time to fix it.Read more
