I have the older version of this. I bought it on Amazon in January 2018. I love the fast heat up time and the swivel cord. This has a 3 YEAR WARRANTY!! It started acting up a couple of weeks ago and I called 800-487-7273 and they are shipping me a new one!! They told me to cut the cord and throw the old one away.. I have purchased and returned three curling irons in the past year because my hair slips right out of them and the barrels were much longer than I need. Not everyone has long hair that you twirl around that long barrel. I have short hair and love that this curling iron has a shorter barrel than most and has great spring action that securely holds my hair. Also this is the first curling Iron I’ve ever had with this type of molded foot instead of the typical moveable wire to rest it on. I have burned my fingers many times trying to move that wire out of the way. I find that the temperature setting mechanism is more firm than most, but it still occasionally gets in the way and accidentaly changed. Not a big deal considering all the positives.Read more

I had this same curling iron for a long time , I mean a long time. I wanted the same brand and bought this more modernized version a month ago. I love it!! . Someone smartly saw it need a stand so it would not roll around like the old one , made the heat control much easier to read and the on / off button better too! I am super happy with my new version of my old loved but dead curling iron. I waited until I used it before reviewing….. I dislike reviews of products that people just took out of the box! Oh… I would definitely suggest starting at a low heat and moving it up if needed since it can get super duper hot but I only need it at about half way up the temperature dial.Read more

The older versions of this curling iron worked great. The newer versions do not have a strong enough grip. My hair constantly slips right out of the grip, which makes it impossible to curl my hair. I thought it was an isolated instance, but bought two additional Revlon curling irons identical to this one and my hair slips right out, so I’m done with this brand. :(Read more

Many curling irons have adjustable heat, but the settings they offer are just different degrees of Hair-Sizzling HOT. This one offers a wide range of heat settings. So if you’re like me and really want or need a LOW heat setting, this will to deliver that. That being said, I wish that the very lowest heat setting (the level “1”) was WARM… it is not, it is hot, but at least it’s not so hot that it will damage your hair (or immediately darken your hair color, if you happen to use henna like I do). The price is great, too… especially for a good quality ceramic coated iron. I had mine for many years and only needed to replace it because I left it in a hotel room.Read more

I initially ordered a 1/2″ curling iron and a 1″ curling iron. The 1/2″ works great. The 1″ would not turn on. It’s the exact same curling iron, only a larger, so I figured for the first time in my life, I’d encountered a defective curling iron. What are the chances I’d get another defective one? Pretty low, right? Well, I ordered a replacement instead of a refund, but unfortunately the replacement also doesn’t work!! To add insult to injury, they were going to refund almost $3 less than what I paid, even though I’m stuck driving somewhere to send these two pieces of junk back. Amazon Chat agent helped me out to get my full refund, but honestly what a PITA. Don’t buy if you don’t want any grief associated with defective merchandise or you have an important event coming up, for which you might need your hair curled.Read more

This product was broken upon arrival. The spring that held the barrel open and shut was not connected. And Amazon says this product is not eligible for a return. Do NOT waste your money on the product as there is no recourse if it arrives broken. Cheap cheap product.Read more

People that have straight hair want curly hair. People that have curly hair want straight hair. We never want what we have, it’s true. I have thick short straight hair, and while I don’t want curly curly hair, it’s nice to have some waves on your head. That’s where this curling iron comes in. The 3/4″ size is better for short hair because it can hold those short hairs. The heating goes from 1 to 30; so the thicker your hair, the higher the setting should be. I don’t know how long people hold their curls in place, but I find 15-20 seconds for each hold to be sufficient for me. Too short and it won’t stay curly, too long and it could fry your hair. If you have tips, please share them. This is also a dual-voltage curling iron, which makes it great for traveling. I had previously brought a single voltage iron overseas and used an adapter. That iron worked but was dangerously overheating for a few weeks and it later died. If you travel, dual-voltage is important. The only reason for the minus star is the life span. I bought this years ago but it died after a year. I later bought a different brand which died overseas. I went and rebought this again because there was nothing else that fit my criteria. It’s a cheap purchase but I wish they made a more premium version that lasts longer. If you have straight hair and want curls, this is an economical model to try out before you upgrade to better models. Recommended.Read more

This is probably a fake product. I can’t imagine a well known company like Revlon actually making this. When this hair curling brush arrived i thought it was rather plasticky and flimsy looking. But, it did heat up and seemed good for curling the hair ends. If you tried to wind your hair around it, chances are they’ll get stuck in there, as they did in my case. But before a month is out, the brush has stopped working. First Ifound that the grip was warm but the brush area was totally cold. I touched the plate under the bristles and they were not heating up. I put away the device in case there was some temporary glitch and tried two days later. Nope. Stilll not waming up and what’smore, now the power on light goes off after about 20 seconds. So basically that’s it — it doesnt work. And of course, it’s not eligible for return. You can see why.Read more

La pinza es muy buena, calienta rápido y deja ondas lindas. El único inconveniente que le encuentro es que al momento de estar haciendo las ondas, puedes presionar fácilmente los botones de encendido y apagado y ya van varias veces que la algo sin darme cuenta y tengo que volver a encenderla y esque es porque están ubicados muy cerca de dónde se sujeta.
