Very nice robot, just the right size. Advanced functions, technology has come a long way since I was a kid. Most advance toy I had was a Big Trak from the 80’s lol. Voice controlled, you can tell it to turn right, turn left, move forward, move backwards, move shoulders, arms, waist, tell it to sing for you, dance and tell a story. It has a remote control for all this as well. With the remote you can program it to do up to 50 functions, like move around objects though a maze ect. There is an app you can download to the phone which has the same functions as the remote but more advanced. You kid will have lots of fun for hours and hours with this toy robot.Read more

This robot is a little more expensive than others found on Amazon, but it is for a reason. The Ruko Smart Robot has more capabilities such as Bluetooth app control including custom programming, interactive controls from app or remote (included), and a well designed voice control system. If you want you child (or adult) to have creative interaction with a well built robot then this is the smart robot for you. Challenge your child to create a dance and song routine through the app to grow their STEM abilities.Read more

The robot is huge. It is a biggest toy for my 3 years old boy. He has a hard time carrying it around but fun to watch when he does. The robot has way too many features to list in the video and I’m pretty sure people can find them in the manual easily. I like how we can use the remote to control the robot and the phone app. I tend to like the app better because I can see my notifications at the same time. The robot was easy to use by looking at the icons. You’ll kind of figure it out most of the times which is great. The robot is very responsive and has a long battery life. I expected a few hours of fun. Because it is big, you will need some space for it to move around. One last thing, it does take voice command and there a long list of commands which was easy for kids to play with.Read more

We are a robotic school in Florida, we use a lot of different robots in our school and we are very impressed with the RUKO Robot for our classes. First of all This Robot is BIG over 1 foot tall, The robot is easy to use and very easy to program. I am impressed that you can also control the robot with some basic English commands. The robot comes with a very advanced remote control, this controls all the arms movements. YES you can control each shoulder left, right, front back, elbow up down for each arm. you can also control the torso to move left and right. All those movements can be programed for the robot to repeat. Robot can be programed with the remote or the APP for Android or Apple. There many songs and dance for the robot to perform. Overall I highly recommend this robot for boys and girls aged 6 to 12 they will not get bored and will learn many challenges. Its the perfect robot in the $100 to $300price range. its more expensive but worth it. You will not find another humanoid robot with all those feature until you go over the $400 price rangeRead more

Cool robot for kids wanting to break into the STEM program, very interactive. Programmable but I haven’t played with that aspect yet. I bought this for my granddaughter, and she loves the dancing feature and the voice control which is pretty extensive about 14 voice commands. Doesn’t do too well on rug floors, so any smooth surface that does not have a rug will work well. I would have provided a longer video but its limited by size to upload. It also has a phone apps program that is bluetooth as well as a separate remote controller for kids. Also it’s slightly higher than a foot tall and lots of interactive sensors but into it.Read more

This was my first entry to a robot with multi-functions and found this robot to be entertaining, able to do a variety of things (dance, record my voice, multiple ways to move various parts, and a dynamic face. The Good: my daughter is 12 and enjoyed the songs as well as playing with the remote control functions. The robot is stable and responds to remote control commands in a timely fashion. Things to Consider: When dancing, the robot moves and twists so that you may be facing the back of the robot during the routine. This is good for kids sitting in a circle but for a one-person show was not as enjoyable. The remote commands allow the robot to only do one function at a time (example: you cannot move the arm up while also making the robot waste go side to side). The stories are also made for an audience of 3-5 year olds in my opinion. I gave this robot 4 stars because we enjoyed playing with it, it had multiple functions, and it was everything the summary promised. It is fun for the price and well built. A 5 star review for me would have been the ability to conduct several moving parts at the same time. Also, I found a bit frustrated watching the robotโs back as it danced for me.Read more

Our granddaughter just turn 4 and for her birthday she wanted a “robot”. After doing research I decided to get here “Carle” (pronounced like Carl) the Roko smart robot. It can read pre-programmed stories, sing, dance and move in configurable patterns (up to 50 movements). You can also record audio into Carle the robot (up to 15 seconds). The blue LED’s on the face gives it a personality. There are questions you can ask and get responses to (up to 3 different answers for each of the questions). Rechargeable battery in the robot (comes with a short USB cord). Plug into an USB outlet, or charger). The remote needs (2) AA batteries (not included). You can also download the app to use off a smart device (i.e. Android phone etc.). The directions suggest keeping it on the ground and I would concur and Carle can make changes in direction that could cause him to fall if on a table etc. I am not sure how durable he would be from a fall and hope to never have to find out. Seems well built. The joints are fluid. I have a feeling Carle the robot and our granddaughter will be great friends for a long time.Read more

I bought this for my kids and was skeptical at first. However, my kids love the robot and can’t just help playing with the robot everyday. It’s a different toy that’s not monotonous – there’s a learning, dancing, etc. experience and more importantly, unlike other robots for this price, this robot reacts to hand movements… sort of artificial intelligence but a good start for kids with lots of things changing around. It’s a great value for the price – I would have thought this would be an expensive toy. The sensor that makes the robot go forward and backward with hand gestures works well and the robot responds pretty quickly. I bought another one for my brother’s kid as a gift.Read more

I really did some research before buying and expected more from the product. The app is useless and the remote control lags the commands you send to the robot. The voice commands are very limited and I would say this is more for young kids. My son is 6 and I can see he is already bored with it day 2. Too expensive for what it offers.Read more

A super big toy that is beyond my expectation, my 6-year-old son tried hard to know how to play with it by himself and finally start to read the manual by himself, which is a good starting for reading. He now knows how to operate it by sound, remote control and phone app as well. (I don’t allow him use my phone very often). My 4 year old daughter tried to mimicking her older brother to voice control the toy but not successful. You can imagine she every time spends time very patiently talking to a robot slowly and clearly to make the robot follow her command, so much funRead more

Does what it advertises but does not really wow me for $180 dollar toy(although i did get it at a discount but still not wowed). Commands are really lacking and the app does not even work (The app cannot connect to the robot on my phone; gives me a blank area where it should allow me to select the robot to connect). Would maybe entertain the child for max 20 minutes. Also sometimes it does not respond to provided voice commands. Would be nice if you can tell Carle to stop his routines with voice commands as well. If only they allow us to program ourselves with more voice commands this would be much better and longer lasting toy. I maybe expecting a little too much but I believe a little more polish on the app would make this a much better product!Read more
