Very easy and straightforward to use. As you can tell in the video it takes a little bit of effort to pull the string out (not too much effort) I was worried that it might get pulled out by accident when rumbling in your purse for keys but I don’t see that happening. Nice little alarms! Beware of leaving one with your husband who has no idea that you cannot pull the cord out in a waiting room. He lost the cord and couldn’t get alarm to quit. These are FANTASTIC!! I bought these for my 17 yr old daughter, her best friend and myself. I had one of these a couple years ago and it literally saved me from being raped. I vowed my daughter would NEVER be without one when she started driving. Its loud and powerful and really cute so she doesn’t feel uncomfortable carrying it. A++++++ across the board. I’ve seen similar products but they were all around $15-28 each so I came across these and saw how cute they were then saw the price and decided to try them out. I figured if it didn’t work oh well I didn’t waste much money on it. But they’re great! All three worked. It was an amazing deal honestly. They’re loud and easy to use. The pin doesn’t seem to come out too easily so you shouldn’t have to worry about it going off when unexpected. So overall I highly recommend them. I gave one to each of my younger siblings so they can be at least a bit safer riding bikes and such. They love how cute they are and easy to carry with them so that’s a bonus. First of all I only gave 3 stars because I bought a 3 pack and only 2 work. I purchased these for my children and myself to feel more safe when we are out by ourselves. With the way the world is now it’s better to be safe than sorry. I also purchased some other self defense items for us to feel more at ease. It’s something we hope we never have to use but it may just help save a life some day! I tested all 3 and only 2 of them work great, you just pull of the plastic out then pull the string out to sound the alarm, place it back inside to stop it. I tried contacting the seller in hopes to make it right but couldn’t figure it out. Other than the one not working it is a great product for safety.Read more

These are adorable but fair warning… they are LOUD. Of course that’s what you want in a personal alarm, but the thing is when I tested it to make sure it worked it was so loud that I felt dizzy for a good while afterwards.
