This is a 2 gallon, battery-powered compressed-air style Tank sprayer that is designed to spray water soluble solutions, such as herbicides, pesticides, & other liquid chemicals typically used for weed prevention, Weed remediation, pest control, fertilizing, & watering. This sprayer uses an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery to power an electric air compressor pump. The pump zero electric pump is designed to provide a more convenient & more consistent alternative to standard manual pumps. It operates by pressurizing the air above the fluid in the tank, which causes the fluid to be pushed through the hose, to the nozzle, & sprayed out.

Worked 4 times just fine. Did not use for couple of months. Says don’t leave plugged in and we didn’t but when we plugged in to recharge it did NOT recharge. DEAD! Called Scotts. They said call Fountain Head Group who makes and lwarranties sprayer. OK. Fountain Head said MAIL it to them in NY (i am in WA) at my expense and they will check it out AND if they find a “MAnUFACTURE DEFECT” they will fix or replace (their call.) Bought a sprayer with Scotts name thinking Scott would was backing it. Should have read the fine print. I am sure most buyers will not go to trouble of sending back and Fountain Head walks away with your money. Read the other 1 star reviews most state battery dies but none said they returned it to be fixed. A real rip off. But we are returning. Just want to see if they will honor warrenty. Stay tuned.Read more

I wanted to write this as soon as I opened the box, but then I thought I should probably use it first. Background: I’ve been buying the cheap manual ones for years, and every two years it breaks, leaks, whatever, and I get pissed that I’ve got to buy another. This time when it broke, I went to HD and they had a 1Gal Electric one. I’ve got a big yard, and I couldn’t see myself getting that one, and I didn’t want to buy a backpack one. I got on Amazon and bought this 2Gal one for the same price as the 1GAL at HD. Great quality and great design. First of all, the battery is in the handle, so there is no extra charging station with a battery that doesn’t fit anything else. And the internal battery will last upwards of 12 gallons. #2 on design: the stow arm clip actually works, and there is a little gutter where the nozzle fits at the bottom. #3-To adjust the spray, you just swivel the nicely sized component at the end of the wand (so you are not having to get RoundUp over your hands, which I’m sensitive abuot since I’m pretty sure that my cavalier use of RoundUp lead to my getting Leukemia. Speaking of hose and wand, they are top quality, that I didn’t expect. Putting it together took 5 minutes, and no problems/no leaks on the first day out. Stoked.Read more

For anyone that has purchased the $30-$40 hand pump variety and suffered through hand pumping constantly to keep pressure enough to use the pump and seeing the nozzle fray and not spray effectively, this pump is a God send. After I received this new pump, I fully charged the battery in about 30 min. Filled it with 1 gallon of water and added weed killer mixture. Hose and spray arm are excellent quality, much better than cheaper products. Having a nozzle that lets you dial the type of spray us a great feature. When I first pressed the on button, the pump began to pressurize. By the time I had walked over to my fence (about 1 minute) it was ready and I began spraying. The battery unit went off and on automatically when needed to keep the pressure correct. I never had to stop and wait. what a joy this is compared to a hand pump. Worth every cent.Read more

I have used pump sprayers for years, and wanted to get away from having to pump all the time. So I bought this battery powered sprayer. HOWEVER, this does not get enough pressure to do the job a pump sprayer does. It produces a VERY weak stream. And the other settings also produce very little pressure. It works like a pump sprayer does when you need to pump it some more. If all you need is a very weak, but consistent stream of fluid (such as bug spray) it will do that. Just be prepared to be very close to whatever it is you need to spray. On the Scotts website, this product is rated at LESS than 2 stars. A customer complained about the unit dying, and Scotts said it is a licensed product made by the Fountainhead Group, and they would have to contact them for assistance. Don’t waste your money on this sprayer.Read more

I love this product. Order came on time and without defect. Very useful product that can be used for several purposes. Great technology, easy to install. I would highly recommend. Awesome . I don’t think I can use any other brand than this. Others just don’t work as well. And let’s be honest here, I also thought it was a great value. I really have nothing to complain about here It’s good, works well. I would highly recommend. AwesomeRead more

Used it to stain my fence with Techniseal (water based) and it works a marvel – 225 linear feet fence with 2 sides half a day. Yes it takes a lot of stain, but what a charm with this little sprayer. Washed it with soap and it’s just like new – did 15 gallons of stain on the same charge! Will now use it for weed killing and stuff! Good job Scotts!Read more

I used this sprayer once so far, and it performed well. I purposely used non-ideal conditions. Weather was about 13deg c, and I used regular house vinegar with no dilution as a liquid (as a natural weed killer). The vinegar was stored at room temperature. (I did this same test before on a Ryobi product (OWS1870), and that sprayer hardly worked. The vinegar was barely spraying out either because of it’s viscosity or maybe it gelled a bit in the container. Or the Ryobi sprayer just was a poor design) . Anyway, the Scotts 190567 sprayer performed reasonably well. Note that this will not spray like a regular garden hose with a spray nozzle attached. The spray volume and force from the Scotts sprayer is indeed light, but it is enough to get the job done. I covered 10 sq meters in about 5-10 min. Considering the price and ease of use, it’s worth getting, in my opinion. The rechargeable pump is a great feature. However, one aspect to consider for any product is its durability. As I have only tried this product once, I can’t say how well it will hold up in years to come. But based on other people’s positive reviews, it was worth it for me taking a chance and buying it. Looking at the simplicity and durability of the design, I’m thinking it should perform fine over the next few years.Read more

Amazing. That’s about all I can say. I had looked for a battery operated sprayer for a couple of years and I finally found this one. I use it to spray a medium size lawn. Very nice not having to pump every couple of minutes. Sprayer does everything it says it can do. I have used it several times and have not had to recharge yet. The line from the Sprayer to the nozzle is a good length. If you find the sprayer heavy when it is full you can just set the sprayer on the ground.Read more
