I bought two of these to use in my townhouse, not for inside but for outside but placed on the inside. Being able to turn the night vision off was a must. These cameras do exactly what I need them to do, I love them! —————————————————————————————————————— UPDATE: after a month of cloud service that I had turned off ON DAY ONE, it now says my cloud service has expired! I thought so what, I turned it off but no. I now can only view live footage for 5 minutes at a time before having to click continue which needs to reload now. What makes me extra mad is, I got a pop up asking me for a rating JUST BEFORE it expired. I have not owned these cameras for very long but so far, they have been functioning very well. The picture quality is great, but you do lose some details when you zoom in. The microphone feature is nice to have, and the vocal clarity is great. I am currently trying a new location for one of the cameras, as I have decided to face it out the front window, but I can remotely move the field of vision back inside the house if desired.Read more

I love these cameras! I have two of them in my house and would love to get a couple more! Some of the things I love about this camera are: (1) the ability to select which portion of an image (see photo) I want to receive notifications on, (2) the ability to save a preset view so that if I move it around, I can click the preset and go back to where I want it to stay, (3) the ability to talk through the camera, (4) the ability to turn off notifications for sound, and (5) NO MONTHLY SERVICE FEE! Although this one isn’t made for outdoor use, I placed it inside my house looking out my front door and I’m able to spy on my packages and whenever someone approaches the house. I often use my camera to also talk to my kids when I can’t get a hold of them. Ha ha! All in all, a GREAT device and will DEFINITELY be buying more for our home in the future!Read more

The blurams cam was recommended by many you tubers and is hands down one of the best cameras I have purchased. We have it installed upside down and use it as a baby monitor. Night vision is worst I’ve ever encountered compared to other brands of cameras I brought. Motion and sound detection is also very poor quality. What’s worse is you don’t receive any phone notifications at all so you have to keep the app and camera open on your phone if you want to make sure you don’t miss anything. I reached out to their customer service about the issue of not receiving any phone notifications but they only kept sending me pre-written replies that seem like only a bot is behind their customer service. They also kept telling me to “restart the device”, which I kept doing but still did not fix the problem. When I view the camera, it will stop after 5mins or so and you have to tap back out of the camera and in again. Unless you subscribe to their cloud service, you cannot watch the camera continuously. This makes this cameras pretty much useless for me since I don’t receive notifications and also cannot view continuously. Picture quality is not that great too. There are other cameras that have better quality in terms overall. This is definitely going back.Read more

I bought this to replace my Furbo camera that malfunctioned after only 18 months and no warranty. My dog doesn’t care for the treat toss feature of the Furbo so this was a great and MUCH less expensive option. It works great and alerts me when my dog barks and I can talk to her to calm her down. It’s extremely easy to set up, and the picture quality is amazing. The sound quality is not as good but it’s not terrible. You can have it alert your phone whenever it hears something, senses motion, or sees somebody appearing. I got it to alert me to when my dog barks when I’m not home, and then I use the speaker on it to scold her. It’s worked and she hardly barks anymore when I’m away. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is that it only records 15 seconds at a time, and only when it sees motion etc. You have to pay a yearly subscription in order to have it constantly saving on a loop. Junk, This camera will not initialize on any Hidden networks. Furthermore its a China company. With security at stake, there is also no way to update the firmware on the camera, to prevent it from being accessed or exploited. The cloud probably exists for the sole purpose to spy on Americans. Pros: -Base subscription is free, permanently. It gives you free unlimited cloud storage when sounds or motions are detected (10-11s videos for every alert) -Free trial for pro subscription (no CC needed). Includes unlimited 24/7 recordings on the cloud -App is very okay. Not amazing, but very decent. -Picture quality is good, even with the fish eye lens. Three image quality presets depending on your connection. -Micro SD card slot for local storage -Includes screws to mount on the wall. -Includes two-ways sound channels (you can have your voice go from your phone to the camera’s speaker) Lots of extra pros… Cons: -App is a bit glitchy, but connection is relatively sturdy. -Phone notifications don’t always come for some reason -Camera movement is not very precise, but the fish eye lens make up for it -No battery in camera. It will shut down if unplugged or loses power. Overall, I am extremely satisfied of this product. I payed 36$ for it and will definitely buy more. This camera arrived in record time! It was so easy to set up! In less than 10 min it was fully operational. It took seconds to enable google home interface. Now I can just say… “hey google, show me the living room camera” and it appears on the screen. The picture is so clear. It senses motion very fast. Very easy to review the days events!
